I just played this game last week and hit the top dollar feature. It was on the top line(not the middle) and I didnt understand why that triggered the bonus. I played 10 credits....anyways, I was in for 200 and out for $375. Thanks for this video @cowboySlots

I’ve found that I get the bonus much faster on Pinball using the same bet and denom than on Top Dollar. They have a few of these two machines left at Hard Rock Tampa. Old school slots are the best school😂😂!! Thanks for sharing..

After several years playing Top Dollars, I finally caught on to one pattern: if the offer is 35-40 credits, you should take it. If you turn it down, 9 times out of 10 the following offers will be less. Actually from my own record, 87:times out of 88, the following offers were smaller!
If you look in the game rules it will tell you the recommended amounts for each offer

Is the math the same in the new 9 line version as the old ones in terms of bonus frequency? I believe in one of your older videos you said the bonus hits on average 1 out of 38 spins ?
The casino I play this game at has $1, $2, $5, $10 option. I always play the $1 @ $10 per spin… I’ve had a lot of good runs with it. My last visit I hit the double diamonds all across the bottom line, I think it was about $800 win. My question is, what’s the difference between playing the $1 @ $10 per spin, vs the $2 @ $20 per spin etc.. The numbers on the bonus at the top don’t change… and the nice line hits are a few and far between.

That's typical for Top Dollar - but, the trade-off is the bonus rounds come far more frequently than Thunder Cash.
Most Three numerical wins per reel lands between the winners on the reel and not on center line.
Man, I love Top Dollar; but single line hates me. I never seem to hit the bonus, and when I do, it's always low. But then I found a 5 line top dollar in Cosmo, and playing 25c/50c, the machine kept printing money for me. 5 of my 6 sessions of $100 were at least doubles, if not triple.
I now love 5-line because there's just so many action and line hits, regardless of the bonus.
The 5 Line regular top dollar is our favorite to play for that very reason. Play it while you can, casinos are starting to remove them.
I'm not sure I would be able to find a quarter top dollar here. Would be nice. We have the $1 per line to 5-10 bucks per spin.

No, just play .25 or $1 ones. If you're playing $1 2 credits as long as you match what can give you the bonus you're good. Usually 2 or 3 credit on 1 lines or 10 credits like the one he played first in this video.

There's gotta be a mathematical formula for deciding whether it makes sense to accept a specific Top Dollar offer, right? Like, "If it's 4X your bet, take it." Or "3X, try again."
[NOT that everyone SHOULD always go strictly by the math, of course. For example, last week I was dealt a Straight Flush -- one card off a Royal. I could've kept the SF for a guaranteed $62.50, or tossed the 9 for a 1 in 47 chance of winning $1,000. Statistically, overall, you'd come out 3X ahead keeping the SF. Being a math geek, that's what I did. But being a gambler, I wish I would have gone for the Royal.]
It’s a fixed amount. It’s really not that complicated and it even shows you the formula in the game rules. We’ve got some videos on this. So for example it would say something like this in the game rules: “if the first offer is less than 45 = try again, second offer less than 40 = try again”, and so on. So if you look in the game rules it will tell you what the amounts are.

Top Dollar is my absolute favorite, but the “try again” is bull crap. I’ve learned that over the last 20 years. If it’s 35.00 or more, than take the offer! It’s all random, I know, but I’d rather get 35.00 than 10.00! Like any slot machine, it’s a crap shoot. My best hit ever was Triple, Triple, Triple for 2400.00!
