Apple’s AirPods Max are rumored to be updated by the end of 2024, with several changes that customers have wanted for years. So here’s what we can expect. Starting with new colors.
Yeah, it needs that 2024 aesthetic update: “YOYOYO, WAZZUP ITSYABOI ________ HERE!” Followed up by 5 minutes of stupid non sequitur updates, paid sponsorship, more random yelling, “smash that like button,” more previews of upcoming unrelated videos, more non sequitur clips from previous episodes with stupid :O face reactions. Now the intro, cutaway gag, intro HYPE… continue on for 30 minutes then give 2min of actual info buried at the 45:14 mark. Repeat everything as an outro. Boom, 90 minutes of content for 2 minutes of information. RUclips 2024… let’s do it brah.
They should include an aux input. Being able to use them when the batteries inevitably die should be a base expectation for headphones. Sony’s Bluetooth headphones can operate as wired headphones with no battery, apple has an adapter for lightning to headphone for the AirPods Max but it still requires them to be powered on which defeats half of the purpose of having aux input
It’s almost like the algorithm serves ads based on the viewer’s interests. Nah seems far fetched they can’t know what I like. It’s not like they’re watching me or something. 😅
@@gio1135 They said if they did it on the 1st gen, then no one would buy the 2nd gen, as there would be nothing to add to the next model. It’s basic Apple marketing: purposefully make a bad one first and sell the better one later.
I have the Max 1. Very cool headphones, especially for people in the Apple ecosystem. However, I have to say that after 1.5 years they are no longer good, at least not without third-party gadgets from Amazon. The headband at the top is very stretched from wearing them a lot. This puts all the weight on the two supports, which is incredibly uncomfortable if you wear them for more than 15 minutes. So unless they come with interchangeable headbands, I won't be buying the Max again. I mean, you can change the headband, but there are no spare parts. They could really fix that.
It might depend on user. I’ve been using mine for almost 3 years at work, 6 hours a day, every working day and I don’t feel it at all. Maybe you’re using a stand where they hang on the headband and that’s the cause?

After more than three years of daily driving max 1s, I'd hope for the following -Improved headband - the mesh stretches out over time, concentrating the weight on the two supports which can become uncomfortable -Wireless charging - USB C is cool and all but I want the option to just set them on a charger -Redesigned case - the current case is not ideal in many ways. I only use the case when traveling, which leads into the next point -Improved stand-by mode - I don't want to be forced to use the case every time I take them just so the battery doesn't drain for hours
I could stand to be corrected, but I think they may have updated stand-by mode since initial release so they don’t require being in their case. Don’t hold me to that, but it’s what I’ve heard lol
It would be nice if you could plug them in to your Mac or iPad in a wired mode so that there’s no latency when using apps like Garage Band or Logic. Obviously wireless is better most of the time but there are a few situations where wired headphones are necessary.
Love my Pros.. The sound, ergos, noise cancellation and footprint size are perfect. I love that they don’t have absurdly huge cups that stick out 6 inches from the side of your head.
I tend to get neck aches so a heavy set of headphones is a no-go. If they can make these as light as competitors, even if they have to switch to plastic, I’d be more likely to buy. Looking for something to replace my QC35s
With the USB-C law 🇪🇺 in place now by 2024, does that mean that will also upgrade their remaining Lightning accessories by this year (eg. the Magic Mouse & Magic Keyboard)?
Yeah I was hoping for a redesign. They’ve never looked appealing imo. The only way I’m getting these is if there’s more improvements then what’s stated in this video or if the launch price is competitive. $500+ is absurd
I loved build quality as well as supreme music quality in Airpods Max but sold them because of the weight. It was impossible to wear them, and cushions were too hard for us with glasses...
I think it will release most likely in September.
