Hi Paul Great video. I have not handled Squimpish hair but have read the sales pitch. Do you use it as an alternative to bucktail or has it worthwhile properties that bucktail or other synthetics don’t have? Thanks! Alan
A lot of mine is Waspi as I'm close to a Danish distributer. Always contact the shop first and explain what you are looking for in a bucktail. Being a natural material every tail is different. One man bad bucktail is another mans good
Such great flies, thanks for sharing your knowledge Paul
Its amazing how easy you make it look!
Thank you. I tie 20-30hrs a week so get plenty of practice time
Great fly! I will be tying some of those for sure! Thanks for the video and the inspiration! 👍
My pleasure👍

I use it to add a little length sometimes over bucktail or subtle colour shift. I wouldn't use it to replace bucktail
Dear Paul, your bucktail looks great! Which company you recommend? Thx
