    I look at Tesla electric cars different than most people. It's an evolution to me. Gas cars struggle to get performance and you can hear the struggle. The engine and exhaust noise is glorified now but it really is a cry for help. Loud gas cars are yelling for help. Tesla electric cars are pure power. They don't struggle, that silence is powerful. Tesla cars are the ultimate driving machine.

      Why is Hertz giving up on Tesla’s ? Too expensive to fix, body and mechanically, not desired by public. Worse for environment when everything taken into account: more damage to roadways given excessive weight due to battery. Excessive tire wear (see above), rare earth minerals are mined by slaves in Africa….replacing a battery can cost $20k Hold off on your love affair just yet.

    I drove one at the Electrify Expo. I was blown away by every aspect. Feel. Performance. Fit and finish. Value for dollar. Feature content. It is head and shoulders above anything in its competitive set. And I experienced the base model! Even the sound system punches way above its class. Had me really thinking, "Do I want to wait on my CT fulfillment?...." but only momentarily. 😂 It has personality compared to its set, that's why I didn't care for the "appliance" jab even if you just focus on acceleration or smooth but firm ride. Great traits. Definitely not lifeless

It's funny I came from a Corolla😂 that car was a great car it was a 2015 got it in 2018 with zero issues. But this car , you nailed it , blows me away. It is insanely fast, super comfortable, quiet. I love the tech and minimalism they are fantastic. I enjoy the stalkless design it's futuristic and progressive. I love how the car guesses 99 percent of the time correctly which direction to go out of park. Cruise control is awesome !! No dreaded phantom breaking as of yet 😂 I do agree about the turn signal buttons , 98 percent of the time I press the right location and they work great but there are those times where I miss and I have to fumble for them as I'm making a turn. I agree with your assessment of the new "3" 100 except for the comment about the Corolla. The refreshed single rotor "3" and say an "entry-level" 3 series BMW are not that far apart in terms of quality, IMI. In fact when you take into account all of what Tesla offers as standard equipment, the new "3" is a comparative bargain, and you don't need $850 HK stereo upgrade. I just had a water pump replaced on a 24 BMW 440i xdrive to the tune of $,1700. The car only had 15k miles on it! It was covered under warranty, but if anything in the drivetrain goes south after the warranty period, it's not going to be an inexpensive car to maintain. Tesla wins!. I don't buy into the nonstop hype about Tesla futures and never will, but what is available now, when you buy the car, and not "in the future" is pretty compelling. After owning BMWs for 30 years it's time to turn the page. If Tesla would finally get FSD to actual self-driving and get "approved" by the Feds, that rotoTesla thing might actually be more appealing than it currently is. I know it's close, not it's not close enough

    I wanted an "S, but ; right now that was just a bit out of reach. The New Model "3" is really a great car. I test-drove it and thought it was pretty darn nice. I can only support 1 car; so it'sa a 3 or the "Y. The "Y" wins as a car that would be fun to drive, but also can actually carry a fair amount of "stuff". If the new 3 had a hatch, I'd buy a 3 hands down. The rear wheel hp is "only" in the 200s. The dual rotor has about 400 and the damn thing is a blast to drive. I'm about 6" and with the driver's seat in the position I like, the rear seats can't be folded flat without, moving the front seat(3) forward to accommodate the rear seats being lowered. ( I need to carry "stuff" alot) In a cost-cutting measure, I'm sure, the head rests on the rear seats are not detachable. The trunk is decent size, but it can be a chore getting "stuff" in and out of it. Without the $7,500 rebate, which I didn't find out I was ineligible for, until Tesla snagged a $250 not refundable deposit. the Refreshed "3" dual rotor and the 24 Y dual rotor area about the same price.

    Is there a reason why you need a Model Y? Is the storage space really that much more valuable compared to a Model 3, especially when you can fold the rear seats 60/40?

    • @ProXcaliber
      @ProXcaliber Месяц назад

      I can understand his issue a bit. The benefit of the Y is the rear space for a car seat and the added height for not only cargo but rear passengers as well. The Model 3 can definitely fit a lot, but when you have a car seat in the mix that can easily be cut down a ton, since you can no longer fold down that seat. And as I mentioned, the Model 3 also struggles with taller cargo.
