- Hillary is a national buck dancing champion and fiddler with over a million fans/followers worldwide. I'm just an old retiree taking introductory video/film production classes for fun at the local university. So ANY BEGINNER MISTAKES ARE MY RESPONSIBILITY (the list of "Lessons Learned" is long!).

Hillary, here is some very interesting story: A man named Opie Cates wrote "Little Liza Jane" and one of his four daughters is named Liza Jane so he decided to name the song Little Liza Jane after her. My son married one of Opie's granddaughters. I am closely acquainted with everyone in the family. Opie had a big band in California back in the 1940's. Opie made a trip to New York with his band to play at various events. On his travel back from New York, he stopped in Fort Smith, Arkansas which was on the stateline bordering Oklahoma. A fellow told him about several thousand acres of land was for sale in Moffett, Oklahoma. Moffett was separated from Fort Smith by the Arkansas River. Opie bought the land with a house in Moffett and moved his wife and children from California to Moffett. Also another interesting fact: Little Opie played by Ron Howard in the Andy Griffith Show was named after Opie Cates by the producer of the Andy Griffith Show who was close friends with Opie Cates. Opie and his wife are deceased. Moffett Oklahoma has a population of about 200 people. I live about 3 miles from Moffett, Oklahoma.
