- This is a short demo for the bechele 2.0 open source animatronic software. This video took me about 2 hours to set up, though 24 servos are moving in the two heads. The software is open source and was initially intended to perform ventriloquist like puppet shows. But the software ist not limited to that, it may be used always if you need to move an animatronic model synchronized to music or speech.

Omg the mouth design is perfect. I love this.
Thanks a lot, I designed this just to involve more servos to the models, so I could show the capabilities of the bechele animatronics software. Building the lips involved a lot of manual steps to get the flexible rubber bellows. The core of the bellows was 3D printed, but applying the rubber milk using a brush was a manual process.
Great!! Thanks! Hope to see more...
Thanks a lot. As indicated in the video title, this is just a demo of the bechele animatronic software. What would you like to see in detail ? Software details you can see on my web site: bechele.de and on my youtube channel: m.ruclips.net/user/Becheledevideos
love it, thank you for version 2, cant wait to try it out!
In case of trouble, let me know. I am curious to see your project - if you want to share.
@@Bechelede i would love to share my project with you, hoping you will be able to help me with it and installing the software and getting it up and running, im pretty good with hardware work, but software work i struggle on, maybe we could somehow have a call?
Why not, in which time zone are you located ? I am living in germany. In the impressum of my home page bechele.de you will find my mobile phone number. WhatsAppp would be another option.
@@Bechelede Thank you, my time zone is GMT, i live in the United Kingdom, i think WhatsApp would be better as i can send photos and videos easier, i will install WhatsApp and get back to you, thank you again!
You are welcome to contact me in either way.
Can you please upload this animatronic CAD model with lips and neck mechanism on thingiverse
Well, actually the model was just intended to show the capabilities of the new bechele software. However if there is an interest for the CAD data, I will publish that also. Please give me a few days time to prepare everything to make it "Public proof". By the way, the plate in between the two heads is just to make sure the models do not "jump" around on the table while moving ...
Today I published the puppet head model on Thingiverse: www.thingiverse.com/thing:6545436 In case of questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
