      As it should. I was working that night and found out the cubs won. Got home watched it 10 times. I still go back to that last inning. I just wish I could hear Len and JD call it. Not Jessica Mendoza and ARoid. They take all the fun out of the game completely

    Montero doesn’t get NEARLY enough credit in Cubs lore. He was hands down one of the most clutch guys in the World Series run. No Montero = No Series win.

    Nice walk offs from the 2010s and on but my favorite walk off will always be when Aramis Ramirez hit a walk-off homerun on the White Sox at Wrigley Field. Aramis Ramirez is a true White Sox killer.
    GO CUBS NATION !!!!

    When you hit a two strike, two out grand slam while down 3-0 in the bottom of the 9th, you get a hug from Bill Murray. You've earned that.

    I was at the game for #5 and the stadium was crazy after the back to back homers from Bote and Rizzo to win from a comeback in the 9th

      I was at the game for number 1 and so many people left but it was still the loudest I've ever heard Wrigley

    • @bradentriscuit7946
      @bradentriscuit7946 5 лет назад

      Ryan Jonsun #5 when I was there was probably louder tho, I've seen two walk offs and the other walk off I saw was Schwarber's this year when wearing throwback jerseys but it was nowhere close to as loud as when I was there for Rizzo's in #5

    Didn't see any of these in person, but I did get to see KB hit a homer in a game against the Phillies earlier this year. We lost 11-1, but KB's my favorite player and seeing him hit a homer made it worth it.

    I'm glad my Chicago teams won another WS 11 years after their previous one. So many achievements Chicago team has done from the 1990s during the MJ era to 2000s with White Sox and Cubs being on fire. Sadly these past 3 years have been a bust. Hopefully, we win another championship sooner or later,

    I was at #10 and #2. I was going to be at #1, but things came up on that day. I want to believe if I had gone, Bote instead would have struck out swinging. That’s the story I’m going with, makes me feel like I took one for the team.

  • @Scorpious187
    @Scorpious187 5 лет назад

    Bote's UGS was so unlikely for so many reasons... The only known UGS to have been hit by a pinch hitter, down to their last out, down to their last strike, while down 3-0, in MLB history. If they didn't have that ranked as #1, someone (or a lot of someones) in the Cubs' social media department was going to be fired.
    It's pretty much the #1 UGS in MLB history.

    Am I the only one who thinks that pouring ice water and Gatorade all over the home run hitter has become an annoyance? That's the kind of thing that used to occur -- maybe -- if you won the championship. Now, it happens for every walk-off homer. It's too much. It's become too common.
