WOW! That was exhilarating. One of my coworkers here in US is Filipino, he always asks me if i want to accompany him to the Philippines when he visits his parents. Maybe I should go.
I miss Tagatay. My wife was born and raised in Mendez and we lived in Olivarez for a while. This show was right down the road from Sky Ranch. Much love to the Philippines from Texas. We love and miss you family.❤
Your content has come a long way. You are the underground racing documentary Guru. No judgement, pure joy, enthusiasm. I love your content and your new shirts look sick! Time to order one! 🤙 my fila wife loves your content too.
17:00 the only "horns" I was waiting for was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. _Sick_ Chad! The steely setup with the 2-tone steel and dark cherry colors was my fav.
FYI, Jeepneys originated from Jeeps left behind in WWII, not the 60s. There were no abandoned bases, it was cheaper for the US to leave the vehicles than ship them back to the states
I remember traveling in jeepneys when I was in the Marine Corps. I really love the people of Philippines. I had a great experience and would love to return someday.
What are the odds our Host has added to his collection? and now is keeping a SWEET ride at a friends place in the Philipines?? Thanks for sharing! Soo many incredible builds in this quick clip!
In 1982 I was in Subic while in the Navy and this guy let me drive his trike and I was drunk lol I crashed into another trike and broke off the third wheel. I bought him two pints of San Migul he seemed ok. I seen him the next morning in the ally sleeping with his wheel he was reparing with an half a bottle beer between his legs lol
Olongapo and The Barrio (Subic NavSta and Cubi Point NAS) were the wildest places on Earth….Even Angeles City (nearby Clark Air Base) had to play catch up….
I live in Laos and have seen CB media shirts by some rich car dudes here. By the way, I'm Pinoy and often go to Thailand. Thanks for featuring PH car culture!
After seeing Calvin Castiel's video where you were being interviewed, I knew this video will come to happen. Fun fact: the Balai Ising Jeepney, at 19:30, is one of the oldest surviving, actual post-war Willys jeepneys in the world. That particular jeepney is a 1950 model. Also Chad, be on a lookout for another upcoming jeepney show called "Patukan sa Bulacan"
Cars shows would love you to be their guests. You also got to see the drag racing competitions in Clark. Rama 9 elites, drag diesel shootout, NDRC and all.
We’ve been in the Philippines for the past month we’re leaving today. I didn’t get a notification you were in the the Philippines, It would’ve been great to check out the car show and possibly meet you.👍🏾
A friend of mine built himself an OTJ here in America. He was from West Covina Los Angeles. He passed away a couple years ago, and he left behind a cool car collection, he has 2 hakosuka skyline, 4 te27 corollas, isuzu gemini, toyota starlet, sw20 turbo mr2, an e30, e36, and 2002i. I think he had more cars, but i forgot what they were.
Philippines also have a lot of of Honda civics (the 6th gen sedans to be specific) and I see them EVERYTIME lm on the road, from the tuned engine, loud exausts, and exotic lights, to the busted dented white ones.
By the way back in the day Cavite use to be home for an American Air Force base called Sangley Point, but America abandoned it long before they left the Philippines.
My wife and I are going to move out to the Philippines I been out there in 2012 I loved it now my wife wants to move out there she never been to a different country than the USA.
That drag jeep with the 4G63 is awesome! I love these jeeps. My sister in law lives in Imus, and you’re right, I never see other foreigners when we’re there visiting.
Dude I love this channel! Every single video makes me smile all the way. Sure I love the beautiful unique rides, but I also dig the unique people and the way you interact with them. And of course you always find the beautiful women! I hope you are having as much fun as it looks like!
my home country! I rode a OTJ “skeleton type” back in 1995-96 in Silang, Cavite and it was a blast! pretty scary though! love to have one, especially when I go back home in the Philippines!
I hope you visit an Thailand Motorcycle Concept here in the Philippines mostly in motorshow and thai inspired concept across Philippine archipelago and young Filipinos are Enthusias in Malaysian Concept and Thai Drag Concept
***Hi Chad*** What a fantastic video 👏👏👏. Thank you for the time that you dedicated to it. Your efforts are outstanding and as a result so is this video. These jeepneys are off the scales cool 👍 and totally unique. Loved how you edited this video. The jeepneys may have been the subject of this video but your skills with post production mixed with your informed commentary made this a mini documentary. You deserve all the good fortune and accolades for a job well done. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺.
I was on another island in the Philippines in September (panabo city) and yes they love noise. We heard the neighbors singing karaoke at 630 in the morning. But they can also all sing
lmao once they got out of the garage, I said to my self that I think I knew this place and yeah its in imus where I live lmao. This custom jeepney's were popular back in the late 90s until early to mid 2000's, and I thought that is looks dope back then, I even ride multiple times a custom jeepney owned by our neighboor, especially when he sees me just walking to go to schoo. I am so glad that they came back again!
Great video Chad, looks like the car culture is thriving in PH. Really liked the video editing, time lapse with the music at the end. I get really engrossed in the videos and miss hitting the like button. You end with peace, maybe let it run a few seconds later. I usually click on the video again and hit like. I watch you tube on my fire stick so not the same options as the mobile app to hit like after. Thanks for the videos, ✌️
I visited s place making Excalibur replicas based on Chevy Caprice long time ago, great work, might still be around. ( Manila) I shared the vid with 2 friends, hope I didn’t overstep your request 😊. Keep it coming!

I wonder why the AURELIO CAR is missing in the exhibit.
Welcome to the Philippines bro.
Fu..you leave the philipines madder parking philipines and Thailand is the same bull shi..
Best part about the Jeepney Culture here is that each region has different styles
So true in my region jeepneys have very high suspensions while im other region not so much
@@cyruspiaga8427 The popular style in my region are the ones with high rears and low fronts with airbrushed artwork
@@cyruspiaga8427 in my region jeeps here has similar head designs to SUVs that car manufacturer sells
Most Jeepney's in Manila are called Ugly style
Here in Region 3 we have a Xlt jeepney
Chad always bringing us the weirdest car culture from around the world. Great stuff.
Chad and the Philippines will always be a 🔥 combo.
WOW! That was exhilarating. One of my coworkers here in US is Filipino, he always asks me if i want to accompany him to the Philippines when he visits his parents. Maybe I should go.

Whoa. Damn Chad gets around! Hopefully, I'll see you on one of the islands, buddy. Enjoy. These people are amazing 🇵🇭

I think the wildest car scene is always going to be in Asia, because the variety is way to vast, and eclectic.
The music and the time lapses at the end - worth the effort. Thanks Chad!
Amazing! This is a car culture you never see! The Philippines look really amazing
Cars shows would love you to be their guests. You also got to see the drag racing competitions in Clark. Rama 9 elites, drag diesel shootout, NDRC and all.

with the extended fron bumper lowering and lifting, that was common on bosozoku vans with long front splitters to get in and out of parking lots
I have one in Australia.....I think it's the only one on the road here and I get so many looks when I cruise around!

I visited s place making Excalibur replicas based on Chevy Caprice long time ago, great work, might still be around. ( Manila) I shared the vid with 2 friends, hope I didn’t overstep your request 😊. Keep it coming!
As a Jeep owner, this hurts my eyes. But I do appreciate the ingenuity that's put into it.
Don't worry that much, these aren't real classic Jeeps you guys in the US are used to. These jeepneys are handmade "replicas" of the US Jeeps.
