The reverb isn't handled by the sound engineer; it's on them and their own pedal boards.

It’s nice to hear actual music from our God given hands.
Recuerdo la primera vez que escuché Hermanos Gutierrez, iba caminando rumbo a casa de un familiar con audifónos y entonces escuche: "Yo sé que tú lo dudas que yo te quiera tanto, si quieres me abro el pecho y te entrego el corazón" y me detuve, en la mitad de la calle, no sé a dónde me transportó pero ya no estaba ahí, estaba hipnotizado.
One year ago I was backpacking around South America and I would listen over and over your album “El Bueno y el Malo”, which had been just released back then -mid October I recall-. All these songs take me back to the astonishing hike I did to reach the ruins of Machu Picchu, in the middle of the Andes. Listening to your music was just the perfect soundtrack to the scenery and energy of that whole place.
An awesome experience hands down.

I saw a lot of KEXP videos but this is BY FAR the best ever. I mean, it's not about the music and the artists, everyone has his own taste, but the connection between Albina and the Gutiérrez, and the atmosphere here is AMAZING, you can feel it in your house while you listen to this great duo and this nice host!
