I also recommend Parcels though they are more uptempo than these guys. Rufus Du Sol even though they are more electronic oriented. And my absolute favorite artist of all time: Tame Impala 🙏🏼

The bassist looks like he stepped right out of a San Francisco group, circa ‘67! And his bass looks very like a Westone Thunder 1A, which is what my dad has… is it, I wonder? And playing sitting down? Oh yes! Relaxed… but so beautifully tight.
Aside from the fact that they look like they just finished their 9 to 5 job, this band is incredible. Venus Flytrap will always be one of the best songs ever for me.

It feels like a love song sent to me, from my future self. Not quite sure how to explain it but it is just so comforting, felt secure, and feels so freeing. The general thought of love is scary and sometimes we are so unconsciously afraid of it that we forget that a love that is real is somewhere out there. I think i just found my new favorite band y'all.
