he skipped by 1 of the most important factors of gameplay. no warp to 0 for gates! the standard warp setting was 15km and then you had to fly to it. so if you had a part of space occupied we used to setup a full channel of bookmarks to warp to 0. which meant that every invading force would have a hard time infiltrating if they didnt have those yet. which also means if the space wasnt protected properly they would get them and were able to make it all the way to the home base cause, you know, no interdiction ingame yet :D
This was such a big deal back in the day. People would spend days making bookmarks for long travel routes. Also the drop out of warp to MWD trick where you wouldn't slow down and hit the gate in a second or so. Helpful for running gate camps. Unless you got it wrong.
27:37 I can remember a time where Garmon was completely dominating the killboard back when battleclinic was still a thing. Until one day Mintchip happened to him.
Used sentry domis with sentry assist back in '10 or something, I remember them being pretty bad in low numbers but around 15-20 of them something magical started to happen where they would instapop most metaships of that era with no time for the hostiles to react.
And I assume that no one had a headset with a mice at the very least to hand this guy? So he didn't have to manually keep acoustic range, as he spat into the old school vocalist microphone. Let me guess... the plug didn't fit the PA system....
