    I bought a 2014 F150 3.7 for only 5k at my local auction. It was a commercial vehicle with a clean Carfax and it came with a tool box on the back. Its 2wd but I don't plan on working off road or in deep snow.

      Thats a great suggestion!
      I'm also working on getting a dealer license/auction license too so that'd would be perfect for me to do
      And same here I definitely would not need to wheel drive in florida

      @@NickTheMobileMechanicOh mine was a public auction I didn’t wanna deal with all that and needed a truck asap. They call it an auction but it was more like a dealership kinda weird.

    good video bro,its expensive but I'd suggest you get that Badlands offroad Jack when you upgrade, if your doin mobile work n gunna b taking it in n out the jeep n possibly working in gravel n shit on occasion, I bought mine a year ago for offroading but it became the only jack I use, it's just so light n maneuverable and can go over cracks n pebble's no problem, its fairly low profile for doin cars n shit but also has a big ol lifting capacity for working on pickup truck n lifted jeeps etc. 👍

    Believe me, it's jobs I don't do. Number 1 is tune ups 😁.. folks will buy cheap spark plugs & wires sets, ignition coils..etc then call me 2 weeks later hollering "my car ain't running right! the engine light is flashing, it's shaking." when people see the cost of real OEM parts they tend to buy "to good to be true" parts 😂

    • @NickTheMobileMechanic
      @NickTheMobileMechanic  20 дней назад +1

      Yup its annoying how cheap people are, and it really affects us.
      That's why if I always do something like that I will tell them up front, If I don't supply the parts, I also don't supply the warranty.
      The only thing I guarantee is that the part was installed correctly.
      If I have to come out again because your part failed, Best believe you're gonna get charged the same price as the first time I installed it to re-do the job

    What part of Florida are you in? Does it pay to be a mobile mechanic?

      I'll be honest, I'm still trying to catch a groove. But from what i've seen so far i'm going to say yes
      You have the freedom of working for yourself, You could potentially make hundreds of dollars in just a few hours and already make more than you would of at a day job and then you get that free time to live life

    Do that job in chicago in the cold weather, you get robbed, shot, tools stolen by gangs or crooked cops. Its bad
