I think Bambie and Ailsha are the only chances at qualifying, I am very much backing Bambie though, but this year is such a step forward for Ireland and I'm happy with the selection
We’ve got to take the ultimate risk and send Ailsha to represent Ireland in Eurovision 2024! 🇮🇪❤️ Go Tobann is a banger of a tune and it’s our best chance at not only qualifying but getting into the Top 10 in the grand final. 🤞 Edit: The song also best represents Irish culture with the Gaelic (Irish language) lyrics and celtic music in it. 🙌
Go Tobann is brilliant. Actually has a great message behind it as well, the parts in Irish are remarking about how we’re losing our language as she’s only able to recite basic phrases from school such as counting from 1-8, “Excuse me”, “Can I go to the toilet” and Go Tobann which means “Suddenly”
As someone who was slightly disappointed by the previous Irish selections and always appreciates diversity and creativity at Eurovision, I wholeheartedly support Bambie Thug!🖤🦇✨️ It's daring, it has a dark feel to it, it is memorable, you can literally feel the passion and the boundlessness of the artist. And on top of that, I would love some apocalyptic electronica on the big stage! This is definitely the best choice, I'm really really passionate about it.🖤🫶✨️ Overall, a huge step forward for Ireland in general, but I have to stick to one choice and it's the one with the most outstanding songwriting skills in my view. Hauntingly atmospheric!🖤✨️🫶
Thank you for liking Go Tobann!! I would also be proud to send Doomsday blue. But can’t stop playing Ailsha’s song. Pleeeease Ireland, get this right. 🤞🏻🇮🇪🤞🏻🇮🇪🤞🏻🇮🇪
At the start I wasn't sure about the genre switch on Doomsday Blue either but I quickly grew to love that song and I've had it on repeat past few days. I think it offers a really interesting concept to stage it with a Good vs Evil theme. Someone trying to escape the evil but keeps getting pulled back into the dark side.
But that's the problem... if you need time with a song it's not going to work. I see this as latvia/ Serbia last year.... very borderline touch and go if the fans will be enough, I'd feel better about its chances if uk is voting in the semi and poland/Lithuania are not there.
@@han-oq6bo Usually true yes, but let's be real, no one expected Common Linnets to come 2nd until they put on a gorgeous stage performance. Same as Fuego, it was a basic dated pop song until their stage performance lifted it up tremendously.
Ireland's selection is a step in the right direction. Ailsha and Bambie Thug could have good chances of qualifying for the grand final, even Isabella Kearney if Ireland has a bit of luck and good staging. (Both things that have regularly eluded them over the last few years) For now, let's wait and see how the Late Late Show"s terrible stage and sound will treat Ireland's hopefuls.
It's Ailsha for me! Go Tobann, like Doomsday Blue is really out there and memorable, but you remember the song more because it's upbeat and combines rock, celtic and video game vibes. Did you know Ailsha composed music for the Big Brother video game? Yeah you can definitely hear it in the song. It's definitely got the most potential. I really dont see people in Ireland picking up the phone for Bambie Thug. Regarding the other songs, they are too generic or not very memorable but I fear the Irish public or at least jury will try to think too hard and send a generic song that 'represents' their past like Next in Line. Take a look at Ailsha's actual music video if you want to see what kind of psychedelic things she wants to bring on stage and the lighting and staging potential are HUGE!
Late Late Show is where these 6 competitors will compete on National TV a TV show which is dated and older mature viewers I'd fear for Go Tobann for that, my favourite.
"staging potential galore" It's so funny to me that you just used an irish word without realising. Galore comes from Go Leor, which Irish is for "plenty"
Funny that you had the same top 3 as mine! I was so much hoping this new NF would be like Belgium last year, a welcome surprise, but alas it may be a bit boring.
Your right next in line is awful. Cringy outdated rubbish that Ireland has a habit of sending. Last year was a good example of this with Wild Youth. Bambi thug or Alisha for Eurovision.
Don't be fooled by the "selection", the Louie Walsh managed Boyband have already been chosen and like Wild Youth last year, they will be the only ones who sound ok on The Late Late Show...... It's obvious RTE don't even want to qualify.
So glad Bambie won in the end. Ailsha’s performance on the night was awful. The screaming getting replaced by a fake, cutesy voice was her downfall. I also thought the idea behind the staging was dreadful. Bambie lit the place on fire 🔥
I swear.. If we do not send something alternative I'll raise white flag.. Louis Walsh will be on eurosong spouting his shit. What have we to lose. Might as well send something different than the same old bullshit boy bands and generic shit

oh well if your happy with it then its ok
I don't think the Late Late Show audience will vote for Bambie. I hope Ailsha is fun enough to convince them
@@yascaoimhin the grannies watching the late late won't like this one either😂
Yay so Bambie won 🏆🇮🇪❤

Also, the lyrics have actual IRISH in them! And it's criticising the Irish language education system where you only remember certain phrases.
People did pick up the phones for Bambi!
I really want Bambie, Doomsday Blue is soooo good!!!
Go Tobann is my favourite🎉
can we just send Ailsha already please?
yes please
Ireland neeedss Bambie Thug. If not Bambie Ailsha would be good too
Go Tobann❤️
GO TOBAAAAANN
ailsha for the win lets go tobann

Eurovision is coming home,,,,,,,,,,,She will win it
The average age of the tv voters for selecting the winner is probably 60. Worth remembering…
That's not true actually, the average age of peaple who actually vote is as young as other NF's.
@@cathalsheehan9596Yes. If the grey vote were so strong, would Wild Youth, Brooke, Can-Linn, Ryan Dolan, Jedward or Black Daisy have won Eurosong?
