Hey Antima I would say that we were a lucky batch that we witnessed the closing ceremony of the Youth festival. As a NSS RDC volunteer we are always ready for cultural programs and there are participants from all the states, so the ministry has requested our batch to have a integration performance at the ceremony. Youth festival and RDC is not linked anyhow you can attend both at different time. In 2021 they both were in January so we got a chance.

There's no update about the south zone brother. My campmates were discussing the same with the Officials fron Delhi but there is no notice as of now. Hope that you will get to know about it soon.
Be physically fit.... practice running from now coz they will make you run for 1.6kms within 10 mins. Practice your parade and cultural performance that you are good in like dancing singing acting etc. Learn about NSS, your state and about NSS activities that will help you in interview. Be confident and you will make it through. Good Luck

Cultural dress apko apke selected bacho ke group me baat krke lena hota he apne app se. Baki Parade ka uniform, Ceremonial Blazer, Tracksuit, warmer and shoes wagera NSS provide kregi.
Selection for RDC 2022 has already started in many states. Individual talent (Culturals) is very important. You can play traditional instruments in groups. Agar parade nahi ata he toh thoda difficult hoga but koshis karo easy he 1 2 din me practice karoge toh sikh loge. RUclips video dekhke practice karo.
Unfortunately not. NCC goes under Ministry of Defence where as NSS is of Ministry of Youth affairs and sports. You will get higher advantage with NCC C certificate ( + RDC) like for Defense jobs. But NSS doesn't allow you such benefits

University ke baad State level hota he fir jake Pre-RDC. And results depends upon the Regional Directorate office. Apko next selection camp hone ke 7-10 din pehle bata diya jayega about your results. Keep constant touch with your NSS officials

The uniform (grey n white) which you see in the final parade will be given to you by NSS. In RDC you get everything in the kit which includes the uniform, tracksuits, sport shoes, parade boot, a bag and other needful. For pre RDC you need to take white shirt and pant and cultural dresses. (Example apke dance ke liye costume apko lene honge)

I wanna ask you, for how many months volunteers should be there for training ?
Pre RD is a 10 days camp where you are selected and RDC is a 30 days camp.(Jan 1 - Jan 30)
