Our world is a sadder, darker place today following the news of Bruce Guthro's passing last night. Search for angels no more, you have joined the host, RIEP.
I'm surprised to find only 16 comments for this video considering that (in my opinion) Runrig are one of the best bands in history. Having said that I only came across this video for the first time, tonight. I have loved Runrig since I first heard them in the early 80s. I have been to as many concerts as I could possibly manage and that was a lot. The last concert in Stirling (my home town but i have lived in the Highlands since 1979) was really wonderful. Full of joy but also one of the saddest days of my life. It was a fantastic concert- as always. I have missed them all so much. It's like a part of my life just died that night. I don't mean to be dramatic but a huge part of my life just ended right there that night. I used to dance around my kitchen to Runrig with my children who also love Runrig. I miss them but they deserve a long, happy and healthy retirement with their families. I wish them all the very best. Have a great retirement guys. Thank you for the music. Love you all. Xxx Please note. My post will show my name as Robert but I bought this phone from my nephew. I am Janet and I haven't figured out yet how to change the name.😂
Great comments and sentiment Janet. To my eternal regret I never saw them live - something always got in the way. I wish I could now turn the clock back.
My sadness was not being able to be there. I’m sure I will still get a buzz playing the music even learning the songs to play myself . Thank you more than you can ever know .
I first heard runrig wandering a market immediatly finding the source of the music to find out who this band was and hooked now for years the only regret is not seeing them live while still performing.

I live in Alabama but first heard Runrig in a pharmacy in Edinburgh. Have been mesmerized ever since. I miss them immensely!
Calling Malcolm a top guitar player is the understatement of the century!
Malcolm is a musical virtuoso.
You can say that again. Man, his textures are wondrous.
The man is a legend

A life long Runrig fan. I am deeply saddened by Bruce's untimely death. All I can say is the angle we lost is now singing in heaven for God.
Could listen to those two brothers all-day long
I am fortunate to know an uncle of Calum and Rory. Rev John Morrison now retired but still busy.
Do I speak for many to say , I miss the group , miss the music , and wish they'd do it again .
