Just collected mine from the factory in France 🤩 It’s so much better than the 2020 model! Can’t recommend these bikes enough. The regen braking gives you so much more autonomy (if you remember to use it 😂). The guys at EM have worked really hard on this model, build quality is exceptional. Don’t knock it till you ride it!
It is going to be very hard to detect when the motor is doing passive or active traction control. I predict electric trials bikes will overtake their gas counterparts in performance, especially in slick conditions. And it is only a matter of time before someone adds some gyro stabilization.
bought mine this year and it is awesome as a fun bike to play with..HOWEVER if you buy this to compete in trials competitions then BE WARNED. the battery cannot deliver a full trial unless it is in a small area. I wonder how strong the gyroscopic force of the electric motor/drivetrain is compared to that of an ICE drivetrain ? Gyroscope forces stabilize the bike, Pick up a spinning hard drive and you'll see what I mean. I wonder if one could adjust the gyroscope forces up and down with different flywheels on the motor.
I suggested this to inch perfect when I bought mine. More like the thumb throttle on a quad I think would work better. I’m thinking of adding the prb lever to mine as they don’t come as standard you just have the fixed regen above the map switch which is awkward to use.

More reviews Danny! You are an excellent trials rider. But the thing which makes E-bikes revolutionary is noise. Hill and forest walkers hate the noise of petrol bikes- it's intimidating not knowing where the bike is going to come from in the forest. You don't get that with a conventional , (top of their evolution), 2 or 4 strike trials. As you said, a few tweaks, every year. That's good for the majority of riders who buy new to keep, or second hand buyers who know their 2011 models is not that different from 2021, not that they would notice at their level of skill.
I've dipped my toes into electric trials. I'm back on conventional bikes. It was a costly excursion. I Will wait till the electric evolution has peaked, or the ACU says "NO aspirated trials bikes". Think I'll be pushing up daisies before that happens.
Great comment and experience insight 👍👍
@@TrialTube Seems they are getting close to their peak. Two ways they can still improve now is noise reduction & battery management with one more gear to improve it's life.
The development on electric bikes from all sports is insane. I think in the next 3/5 years. There going to be hard to ignore, And not think about switching to them. No oil No petrol. Yep I No there’s Not much noise either. But they can be made to match and better most normal engines in bikes. I No there not the same as a petrol bike. But try one and tell me your not impressed!
I was!
Great test Danny 👌👌😎
Can't bloody wait to get an EM race. Hopefully Santa comes through with the goods 😬🎅🤷
He is the man when it comes to bikes!
What so no seat then
And that weird tick over sounds like it needs turning down
The bike still sounds like a Halfords electric scooter.
Obviously no seat! Also it’s electric. Suppose we could get an engine noise like Porsche have done…
@@TrialTube to be honest I have a 911 not the best sounding engine to be honest. It sounds like loud beetle.
My kt250’s got a seat. But it’s also got a engine. These new fangled gadgets. It still sounds like my little girls electric scooter. But to be honest. I’m probably just jealous of your riding. If I’d attempted that I’d still be in the X-ray department of A&E I enjoyed your blog.
👍⚡️
🤘🤘
Brill as alway and that’s a great bike too
Cheers
Bro... Use two fingers... 🤣🤣🤣
Even more important just use one!
@@TrialTube out of curiosity... Does it do the same thing if you're using the front brake to do front wheely stunts and hooky stuff's? 🤔
electric motion is the worst thing that can happen in the sport of trials. It could possibly ruin everything
Its the one thing that will keep the sport alive! Take yourself out of the equation and think of generations to come.
How would it do that?
@@AlpineTreeCare This is true my friend but formula 1 and formula E is a whole different world.
Maybe just try and keep an open mind
@@TrialTube U are right
Hey! You forgot the three things you love and hate!
Didn’t worry I have a part 2 haha
@@TrialTube :D Perfect!
Parli troppo!
