    this was really helpful. I'm moving to texas in the next week and I've got an entry level no-experience job there working as a CNC operator, and while I am not super happy about the possibility of extreme math being an every-day occurrence, the 35k a year + Overtime is really nice.

      @zeke7100 Год назад +10

      @@xocreme I was unfortunately fired from my job just a week ago due to various lies from my supervisor. :(
      But what I have learned while being there is unless you're going to one of those brand new state of the art CNC shops that look more professional than productive, expect to get paid much less than you're actually worth. We had people there for over 4 years working on CNC machines, being so good at their job that they were basically the only ones that knew how to do certain things, but they were getting paid considerably lower than what they are suppose to get paid (and they don't ask about it because I'm pretty sure 90% of them were illegal immigrants).
      But either way, just make sure if you're going into this, to make sure you know how capable you are and how much you know you should get paid because they will 100% downpay you if you don't say anything.
      Also if you've got no experience in CNC machining, don't expect to be put on a machine right off the bat. Every place is different, but I was asking for weeks to get training on a machine and they always turned me down, so idk.

    • @zeke7100
      @zeke7100 11 месяцев назад

      @@Loner-DestroyedWomanI was basically being paid to sit around for 8 hours a day out of the 10 hour workload to do nothing. I would constantly ask for more work, but was always told I don't have the experience and they would never train me. Eventually it got down to the supervisor "finding" problems in the quality of my work despite doing literally what my boss always does. So I presume they didn't like how they were paying me to be there for 17/h when it's really a job worth 12/h

Specialty items, such as aerospace, certain automotive and diesel engine products, and specialized precision parts, such as high speed turbine rotors, seem to be where the money is in the US, as job shops have mostly gone overseas...

      Well it all depends on where you live. It's not an easy field to be in. I'll be the first to tell you that. Still if you do an apprenticeship I would think the minimum you could make is between 20 to 23 hr. Starting out is going to be 14. I'm at 17 hr now. Although I do wish I would be making at least 20 because you are absolutely correct when you say how diverse it is. There are jobs that will pay. You just have to be skilled and looking around.

    Always remember to repent of your sins (sin is transgression of YAHUAH’S LAW: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy) And Have Belief On YAHUSHA HAMASHYACH. HE Died and Rose three days later so that you can be forgiven of your sins!
    HE Loves you! Come to HIM!🙂
