- So it took over a month of planning and editing but we finally got another tech tree showcase for you. Aside from a few trailing strings of thought on my part I think we have a solid video for you all. The bottom line is that this tech tree a strong from bottom to top, but it is by no means easy. The good news is that it rewards you with skills if you let the planes teach you to fly them The trick to heavies in my opinion is that once you start fighting the plane for control you already lost. The movements of a heavy should be fluid an deliberate in my opinion. In the end it is a great line with a ton of potential and some truly beautiful planes.

As I think of it, Veebat, the Bf-109 Z Zwilling and above in the line, are above all, ultra-heavy light fighters, and they have the HP to match. They don’t turn as well in part due to being two-engined, plus the associated weight(those and airframe weight are why the Zwilling doesn’t turn like a Light Fighter), and in the case of the 262s, also the jet engines making turning maneuvers less tight.
I stopped at the t8 262 because I really like the historic factor of it, I know the tier 9 and 10 are beasts but the og 262 feels both futuristic and real. Great vid, keep these up
Great vid! Full of information and it dispelled a couple of misconceptions which I had about these aircraft. I'd like to see longer format videos like this again.

Thanks guys, great video. Imo the 110e is outclassed by other heavies and boom and zoom light fighters. I love my me210 though. I have only got to the 262.
Thinking about trying heavies and starting with the Germans. You've sold me on it and it'll help me learn how to boom n zoom with other lines. You need to make more of these tech tree showcases. They're very detailed and are almost reviews of each plane in the line.
Yes, the best line to learn Boom-N-Zoom... because it forces you to.
The difference between the 210 and the 410 wasn't down to the rudder, the difference was the wings -
From Wikipedia: The wing panels of the earlier Me 210 had been designed with a planform geometry that placed the aerodynamic center in a rearwards direction in comparison to the earlier Bf 110, giving the outer sections of the wing planform beyond each engine nacelle a slightly greater, 12.6° leading edge sweepback angle than the inner panels' 6.0° leading edge sweep angle. This resulted in unreasonable handling characteristics in flight for the original Me 210 design. The new Me 410 outer wing panels had their planform geometry revised to bring the aerodynamic center further forwards in comparison to the Me 210, thus making the leading edge sweepback of the outer panels identical to the inner wing panels with both having identical 5.5° sweepback angles, which improved handling.

I specialized my t8 262, it's a beast. It's 30s takes some patience but we'll worth the damage inflicted.
So, once you give the 262 the rocket engine, it technically makes it a C1a Variant, rather than the A1a
Run the 210 without bombs... big difference ! The 210 was a short stop between the 110 and the 410. Made to escort the bombers, the Hurris and Spits just out flew them, as well as the 110's. The 410 was too late to act as an escort and made it's name as a night fighter... excellent in the role.

Skystalker I don’t know. We had fun doing them, but coordinating them was the hard part. Postal has time constraints, Avolation is on the opposite timezone to us and I travel a lot for work. I have contemplated going outside this circle but it feels odd since most of this feel comes from our three personalities and approach to the game. TL:DR, I want to, but don’t know when we can make it happen.

Hated the Bf109z, I felt exactly like you said, throwing a hand full of rocks and hoping to hit. I love the 262, cowling mounted guns are way easier to control.
The 109-Z was like a tank, a flying one.
Did you forget about the P.38 Heavy Fighter?
Richard Norris we were only doing the German non-premium for this showcase. We are looking at doing the premiums at some point those we are going to have to break up some how as there too many for one video.

With the Z, you have to shoot wings level with your target...the guns are no problem.

What's your favorite heavy fighter line overall?
I played in Beta, came back, bought few things, had fun and i am bored already... Give us back 1.0! Cockpit view! :( The game is almost dead... no new planes at all, etc. Makes me so sad.
Why are there twice as many red planes as there are blue planes lol
