I liked a lot La-5 when I first played it. I sold it because my hangar was lacking when I went up the line, but of course bought it back for Vasiliy Pavlov. It's a very nicely balanced plane. Not best at anything, but pretty strong. With the new dedicated pilot it certainly is even stronger. Especially in the firepower department, though before it wasn't weak in that regard. This plane is where I was learning the tap-tap-tap shooting. Lavochkin line is pretty strong IMO. I'm up to t8 so far and La-9 is very well balanced too. I've opened tier 9, but don't want to sell the La-9 and I need like 20 hangar slots anyway so this line is waiting it's turn. Hangar slots are rather rare prize in this game. I spend tokens on them regularly, but it kind of pains me as I try to keep a pool of tokens.. for sudden missions, because I've had this problem before in this game too.. Sorry for the long post!
No need to apologize, you are right the Lab line is a well balanced line, often overlooked. I really liked the La-160 even tho it's the odd duck on the line. The La-15 is one of the best Tier X fighter IMO, so strong and fast

Thanks for the video it was a special treat. Two things I figure the “ghost” bullet is some pissed off farmer with a rifle lol, Second always remember first plane into a sector usually dies....

These pilots ought to be reason enough to buy back their respective planes. I'm still working on the Japanese pilot, will attempt the Russian pilot if I can get the time. 10 defensive kills in one battle will be tough.
The Kozhedub is a raffle...the battles I'm playing don't last long enough or you get a crap map...not sure it's worth the agro,starting to lose interest
GOOD JOB POSTAL. GREAT video us usuall. More then pilot other stuff is worth to play this missions. La5 it is just very avarage plane with good guns. Most V tier light fighters are better. This is the reson why they put out spesial pilot to make La line more atractive. In EU server nobady play La5. This plane needs more speed or/and altiude performace to. It s not bad plane but it s not good us well, if it make sens. Something like I 250.

I was able to get more than 10 in my Yak-15. Regretfully I wasn't on that mission lol I was doing that 75 total mission
