I came upon your video because I am reading a book called Trask, by Don Berry. He is describing a trek he took from the Clatsop Plains up and over Neahkahnie Mt. Your video shows vividly what it must have been like, minus the bushwhacking he had to do to get through. Thank you for that!
At 9:03 you can see my stake in the lower left corner if you have 200' of rope and some balls you can climb to the bottom of Treasure Cove. Super steep but no repelling.
I watched your video as I was planning to go down again and my friend wanted a "preview". Anyway we went to the bottom on Friday. I posted a video & sideshow if u want to take a look. Yes. There are a number of connecting trails that you could use to make a backpacking trip more worthwhile.
