Another question: With so many people feeling incomplete with the Rahu/Venus connections, why do astrologers write it off as "it is difficult to let go because of the Rahu 'hook'. Shouldn't a person feel relieved once karma is resolved? Just like the body feels relieved when something bad comes out. Our body doesn't want to hold on to the bad/ill feeling and when it does, it's because the sickness has not left our bodies. So maybe this lingering feeling of not being able to let go is because the karma has not been resolved.
TemajTarot I’ve experienced this twice- it is difficult to let go of, and there is definitely a sense of a hook, and both times the relationship was severed abruptly. I felt both times there was unfinished business. whether there’s more karma to resolve I don’t know, time will tell.

lalaboo grey I’ve been both. When I was the planet person I was less of the “chaser” and it was easier to let go of, compared to being the Rahu person. However I was also a bit older and wiser so that might’ve been a factor.

obviously you will get the positive of the Sun qualities in the relationship and the negative of the Saturn qualities-but Saturn can also be disciplining and teach you self control. Check which of the two combinations is closer in degrees. for example: his Rahu at 2 libra and your Saturn at 4 Libra will stronger than the combination of your Rahu at 28 Aries and his Sun at 5 Aries.
Hi Lada! Please advise: We both have Rahu/Scorpio. My planets are Mars and Venus in the 4th. And we have Ketu/Taurus. His planet is Jupiter in my 10th house. hi, just look if rahu or ketu r in the same sign as the planets of the other person. do not count aspects. If there are a few rahu and ketu connections it means that this relationship is deeply karmic, and will most often be transformational for both and will challenge and make both sides grow a lot.

these are slow moving planets, so it means that you were from the same generation-born within the same year or two, so it is not so importnant, what matters is if these planets are in the same signs as any personal planets of yours or his(Moon, Sun, Ascendant, Venus, Mercury, Mars)

Hi having the same Rahu and Ketu, means you were born within the same year or close. Anyone born in the same year or around the year you were born will have these in the same signs, and also Saturn and Jupiter--as they planets move very slowly-so this is not very telling about the relationship, just generational

Is this only correct for the D1 chart or does this apply to the D9 chart as well?
I looked up a guy and his Rahu is on my Sun on the D1 chart but on the D9 chart it's the other way around, however my Ketu is on his Sun, Saturn, Neptune & Mercury on the D1 chart and there is no connection in the D9 chart with Ketu at all.

Lada, I have one question regarding connection between Asc/Dsc and Nodes. My South Node is in exact conjunction with my partner's Asc, you said that it's not that promising in the long run, but if the South Node is conjunct Asc than North node is in conjunction with his Descendent - shouldn't that be a good thing or does that mean that it's only his benefit, I mean it looks like I can help develop himself, am I wrong?? Sorry but I'm confused because it so hard for us to let go each other it's a real nightmare :(

How does the sign and house placement affect the synastry? For example: Male's Rahu conjunct female's Moon in the 6th house in Capricorn (in the 6th house for both people)? Is this less favourable given the synastry is taking place in the 6th house of enemies, litigations, disease, etc.
I am not a vedic astroler--I use tropical zodiac as I have seen it work much better to predict details like colors, places, etc

It means you were born 9 to 8 years apart from each other. I wouldn't give Ketu+Rahu combination too much importance-it is generational, unless there are other planets in those signs

well I could not see the whole story unfolding just from astrology, but judging by all the ketu and rahu connections--it is a relationship with a lot of pre-history--past lives and easy life(Ketu) and also one which will have a future and some continuation due to Rahu connections. If it was only Ketu connectios usually it tends to dissolve over time, to be like a conclusion of karma, but Rahu made sure you would meet again and have a continuation
Lada, what if the man I am currently dating has his Sun & Ascendant in my Rahu but also Mars and a Waning Moon. Is there a possibility that these could balance out??? my Rahu and Wife's Asc are in same sign. so we have very strong relationship. and when I went to see her for the first time for the purpose of marriage both of us agreed immediately.
