Cracking - she really giving it Beans there. Gotta love heritage diesels when they returned to their prime like that. Really good looking train with the coaching stock and T&T partner loco looking equally splendid. Great bit of footage + really nice still take-offs. Keep it coming Phil 👍🏻
What a stunning rake that was. I miss the days I used to go to St Pancras and collect the numbers of the peaks. Deltics at King's X, 86's/87's etc at Euston, slam doorss at Marylebone, Liverpool St too. Seems like it was only a few years ago. Time just disappears.
@philclarke3203 it does seem like yesterday. The railways today are boring. I drove trains. Driving slammers were the days I loved it as it was my dream. New trains came in and then it just became a job.
@davidsnapebrcrosslane8782 as a kid my mum used to say to me the older we get, the quicker time goes. Naturally as a kid you think, yeah alright mum, but she wasn't wrong. Doesn't seem that long ago we put the xmas dec's away and we're now more than half way to the next one. scary.
Great location Phil Really looks and sounds in good order. I was thinking of going to Chester but they only stopped a couple of minutes and not up early enough to set off to Crewe which would of been better.
Good to see a Peak.👍
Definitely 😀. Thanks David 👍
Nice catch
Thanks Kev

I’m gonna catch up with that loco later this month on the 27th it’s first ever tour
That will be very popular

Great catch Phil, twenty years since I last saw a Peak on the mainline so looking forward to seeing this one soon, cheers 👍

We all get older, and the older we get the quicker the time goes.
