Generative AI is undoubtedly a game changer. As such, it tends to affect us with a full emotional cycle, including avoidance, denial, and even fear. Optimists could argue it's just a passing trend, while pessimists could claim it would end up replacing us all. The former is already proven incorrect, depending on how we play it.
In this lecture, we will take the first step in this journey: knowledge. We'll get to know some of the software-related tools and services and how we could outsource assignments to them in an efficient and controlled manner. Uninformed optimism is a decent mantra, but here we choose informed realism.
