Recently started the plan again and by the grace of God I was able to sell my 2021 truck which based on the inflated market I had a good amount of equity in it and paid cash for a used truck. There's never been a better time to get out of a car loan !!! Driving a vehicle that's paid for for the first time in a long time . Excited to go on this journey !!
For the gentleman in NY who is wondering about G-d's plan for him . Many times the Lord does not give us a map. Instead, He asks us to do one thing. When we complete that, He asks us to do the next thing. This desire to teach an FPU class could be the one thing that He is asking you to do. Upon completion, He will give you the next thing. The guy selling the farm loves his wife so he's always letting her win in their arguments. It's been like that when they were dating and will be like that until Dave's advice. I hope not. I say just let it be like that. Do not poison the relationship. He sounds too old to start all over.
I would save the money, get a place in Texas first then sell the house in Oklahoma after moved. Buying a house with the contingency to sell another home will not make it easy in this market.

Well there’s also pain in moving money from investments to pay debt… because there will be always a painful thought “I wonder how much money I would made now if I didn’t have to move that money😖, specially if the market was good”
Pain is not required. .The joy of an epiphany can be motivating. I recently chiseled $60 off of my $100 a mo food budget by focusing on nutrition, cooking from scratch, protein powder, & a wholesale food club free nembership.
To the guy at 32 minutes is about to get finessed in a major way. He is that woman's parachute after what sounds like a lifetime of bad decision making based on age and lack of children.

I did the same. Traded in our 2017 Lexus RX, Pristine condition, 52,000 miles. Came out Ahead. Now driving a paid for Toyota Camry!
