so james gets cancelled online for using aiden for followers, while riya is praised for almost letting him die AND using connor and manipulating him MULTIPLE TIMES in the show?? make it make sense
@@trerchry not innaccurate really lol riyas gig is being a collosal bitch and its also kinda meta because a wide portion of the fanbase justifies her. im surprised she didnt just blame the tree though, she def couldve used that as an excuse to mock him
So in the in universe fans minds, being boring is worse than being an attempted murderer who stabs people in the back and abuses innocent people around them
Dont forget that entertainment is gonna be important for any fictional medium/show. Having a boring character without any important storyline revolving around them WILL affect how the fans view them. People can like villains that backstab others because it adds something to the plot vs a perfect person who only exists in the background doing absolutely nothing
@@windmistress6639 I’m saying the in universe fans who would have literally seen riya leave aiden to die and almost paralyse Connor. In their world she committed crime on a television show yet people give her less hate than ally purely because ally is boring
@@Gummyz25In fairness, Ally also left Jake to die at one point. But I still do think Riya is worse, especially after this episode. But I don't like either
@@12Metatron yea I know I agree I’m just on about in universe because ally’s story going into this season was being hated for being boring yet they see riya almost let an innocent man die and she became one of the favourites and was a celebrity
I think much better writing would've been Riya actually breaking character for that moment when she saw Connors legs broken, consoling him and then the we get shots of the camera zooming in and her completely freaking out because she broke character, then she dials it up to 100 with her raging at Connor for him once again trying to "ruin" her career, aka her getting back in character. But this? this was AWFUL , especially when just LAST EPISODE Alec was telling him not to give up on her... like what was the point of that? there's absolutely NO WAY they're ending up together now; and even if they were never going to end up together what was the point of the talk with Alec? the questions during the truth game? Hell what was the point of Connor coming back at all?! I mean ever since he came back the season has literally been revolving around him; to the point where Alec basically gave up his whole game to be friends with him. If you watch this season straight through, it's some serious whiplash because this final 4 is the worst final 4 imaginable. two members of a team who could barely get wins, a past finalist, and a returner who's gotten no character development outside of just being too good a guy. The only reason Jake and Connor are "good" winner pics is because they made the villains absurdly evil. Like both literally almost committed felony level crimes lvl evil. THIS is what it took to make Jake SOMEWHAT likable. that's how terrible he was in the first half of the season, and let's be real no one else on this show even has a winner edit at this point besides him.
I really disliked how they executed Riya this episode Why is she now suddenly. giving so many extreme signs of regret? If it was because of Brian then why? I guess it's not that sudden but this wasn't her first time doing something that seemed like a sudden change. Also what she did to Connor at the end was just too far, idc if she's visibly sorry. "You're not suppsed to take everything the character says as the truth" yeah I know but she still sucks😭 Why not just give her her own show instead of letting her eat up this whole season
i agree with this. to be honest, i actually quite like riya, you can tell that she's still good deep down and i do find her interesting but why spend the entire season on her and connor? and why just now? yeah in my opinion, it's too little too late. and riya felt bad and did emphasize with her when she couldn't apologize because of the cameras and i know it was an accident, but yeah she still should've apologized 100%, why would the public care if she did anyway? theyre just gonna hate her bc she was a bad person in that moment. in the real world she would be absolutely cancelled
Gotta be honest: I have never really seen either of the previous seasons in full from start to finish, as I only sporadic times and can't be considered a fan in the slightest. However, even I can tell, from what I DO know about the shows and these characters, they REALLY screwed things up this season. Riya suddenly feeling regretful at the end of EP 16 made zero sense and came out of nowhere, as there was nothing particular about how Conner looked that should make her feel guilty.
For me the main issue Disventure Camp as a show has consistently had is there need for every elimination to be this huge moment. It is ok for eliminations to not be the highlight of the episode I don't think anyone would say Eva getting booted was the best part of the Big Sleep. Along with that, every character seems to need some massive arc or a major role in the story, filler characters in a show like this are necessary so that you give the time for characters with a huge arc to develop and have a satisfying arc. Does anyone remember the fact Will and Ashley are together? Probably not because it's randomly thrown out there in the season one finale and is shown briefly in season three's first episode. Imagine if just two filler characters were in DCS1, same amount of people in the cast. This gives four episodes for Ashley and Will to actually build up a some form of a relationship and so that reveal in the finale makes more sense. Anyways Grett eliminated that's sad, even without Connor becoming a writer's pet it would just be unsatisfying for him to win after returning. This season has been a shit load of fuck for ages I didn't expect it to get worse
Dude this is exactly how I feel. I absolutely despise how every elimination needs some sense of drama or somebody voting randomly to make sure the final vote is a 3-3-1 split with one vote remaining (lookin' at you Tess) People who suck should be getting everybody ganging up against them. Why did Yul have ANYBODY take his side? It's all just so forced and I hate it.
@@manband20 Exactly, I feel like a contestant could literally kill someone and still have three people not vote for them even when doing that is pointless because the audience knows who's going anyways, adding "suspense" in most of these scenarios just means prolonging the ceremony
My only critique of this video is you not pointing out how bullshit the “I’ve never seen Connor this disappointed before” line is. It’s literally a straight up lie. Also got to love how Connor and Riya’s relationship hasn’t progressed past episode 6. If the arc is supposed to be Connor giving up on Riya we already got that this season’s premerge and it was much better.
So why do they keep throwing away characters with unfinished good storylines (or just refuse to explore such storylines when it comes to Aiden)? To subvert expectations? That's not how you write a story!
I don't think Connor is writers pet. I just think since the writers have no other story to tell with (shit) characters left, want you to feel bad for when something bad happens to him, AND don't know how to properly devide up screen time for each character. It ends up making it feel like he's taking priority over every other character. Which wouldn't have been the case if these storylines weren't dragged out, and the only character he has to interact with is the one guy in camp who constantly praises him, for good reason, But still.
This final four might be the worst final four in any competition show. Jake and Ally are the only ones who can reasonably win now. Riya already made finale and Connor is a rejoiner. They literally got rid of Yul, Gabby, Alec, and Grett back to back to back to back, which were probably the four best ones left. (Oh yeah there’s Aiden as well)
@@Nzcade WAS is a crucial statement here. Sorry, but you can't ignore Jake's development acroos the whole season and just label him as "annoying". If we are talking about winners than he is the one since he is the protagonist of this story (even if I agree some things should have been done better with him, you can't argue with that). The problem is that I seriously think they might make Riya win witch might be cool with proper writing (her losing everyone and being alone), but I am conserned if they can pull that off.
Yeah. This episode was the breaking point for me too. Specifically in regards to Riya. I’m standing firm in saying Yul is my least favorite DC character, but Riya, after this episode, gives him a run for his money. I get they want Riya to have this complexity. But after a while, it feels like it’s too little too late with her, as we don’t really see her start regretting her actions until now. But…after nearly paralyzing Connor…her getting a happy ending after that…I just can’t accept that. Jake, I think is the best character this episode. He’s written decently, and don’t have these…glaring holes Connor, Riya and Ally all have. He’s still the most level-headed left. Ally…well. The show said it best now. Ally hasn’t let go of her obsession with how people view her. She’s just accepted her darker side and chooses to be the worst version of herself. Willingly so.
I genuinely feel bad for ally, because she let riya's words get to her head, but at the same time I just.. Don't know how to feel about ally anymore This episode (along with other specific episodes.. Episode 14.. Ehem..) Is just so... Undefendable, they made ally sort of sonder in a way, I don't know how to explain it. Yet this episode and the elimination suck so bad dude, like grett was the most likeable there and they just swept her out for effect... HER ELIMINATION DID NOT MAKE ANY SENSE??? And why was ally so suspicious of her like bro hold your horses she was just asking who to vote Jake (currently) being calmer than everyone at the moment shows how many things are going on at once
I don’t understand why people are hating Riya for being a villain. Heather in total drama was a villain and she has done really bad things and half of the total drama fandom loves her so I don’t get why it’s not the same for Riya
@@saniajoyland Because Heather didn't leave someone to die, nor did she insult someone who could've been paralyzed for life, nor was she set up to be redeemed in the same season. I'm not saying villain characters can't be likeable or have good writing, but the way they're going about Riya is just.. not it
@@saniajoyland Yes Heather did bad things but got humiliated a lot for it (just in season 1, Leshawna trowing her off the cliff, Beth shooting her, Lindsey calling her off, being stuck with Owen who continuasly farts close to her and obviously the head shaving). It makes her seems more enjoyable on the screen because she gets her karma in humilating ways. Riya has none of that, worse she gets in the final 4 twice and is being saved multiple times by the ones she betrays without having the balance that Heather has. Sorry I know I am not clear 🥲
What is with the writers and making characters to seriously harm/ kill people. I don't think it will be a surprise if Riya ends up the character to hurt in the finale.
@@ghostrouxinol6169 like I love Riya so much but she really got ruined here like early season 3 Riya was peak, her and Alec early season 3 were SO CUTE AND DYNAMIC BUT THE WRITERS RUINED IT LIKE I COULDNT DEAL WITH IT AND I AM A DIE HARD RIYA FAN BUT I DONT KNOW IF I CAN BE ANYMORE
EDIT: Just watched the video and got to the Bojack part after writing this so I'll edit it a little to reflect on what you said. They took the term "on the nose" to a whole new level by naming the horse she rides in the episode "Bojack." It's very obvious they took the trope of the "troubled Hollywoo actor who does bad things and hurts the people around them while still trying in vain to change for the better." and repackaged it so Riya could continue to be the series antagonist since their only other options were a little girl who is physically inferior to her peers and a reprehensible douchebag who says whatever comes into his head without a second thought. Riya was the writers' attempts at making a thought-provoking anti-hero/anti-villain like Bojack Horseman that we could all see was troubled and wanted to be good, but the glitz and glammar of Hollywoo was just too much to overcome and she keeps regressing to being this evil monster who hurts the only person who sees them for who they really are. Except Disventure Camp isn't Bojack Horseman. And when it tries to BE Bojack Horseman, it shows. Bojack Horseman was lightning in a bottle. It's a show where an alcoholic horse-man hangs out with a talking cat and made a failed show with a fat gerbil named Cuddlywhiskers. But it's also the single most thought-provoking and intelligent television program I've ever seen in my life. I'm not saying you can't invoke the themes and content of Bojack Horseman in your own media. Hell, it's my biggest inspiration as a writer. But the problem is Riya isn't Bojack Horseman and the writers of this show aren't Raphael Bob-Waksberg. They just don't have the level of precise execution to pull this off while still trying to maintain some level of reality tv-style drama and car crash booking this show is known for, for better or worse. It's like Five Seconds of Summer trying to write their own Master of Puppets. Metallica were a generational band who wrote a music genre's magnum opus because they were the best at what they do. 5SOS aren't Metallica. Disventure Camp aren't the writing staff of Bojack Horseman. And I'm saying this as a fan of this show.
also using the "sad eyes" to convey how riya is a complex character with layers is like when clone high uses the "hands of sincerity" to convey someone is being sincere, except they don't realize how the "hands of sincerity" became a joke to both the fans AND the showrunners
@@saiyanscaris6530 Pre-Revival. The showrunners said when they first created the hands of sincerity, they realized just how funny it looked and made it a goal to include it as much as possible with any many of the main characters as possible.
I dislike how oddnations got almost every likeable character out. Not saying connor is that bad but... Isnt connor already very rich?? What does he need the money for? I have not watched the video fully, but i agree with how speechlesss the connor scene left me 😭
That's what I was wondering about Riya too this season. Didn't she hit it big in hollywood? Wtf does she need money for exactly? They even gave her an expensive coat to show off. Ok, usually being in such a show gives you exposure, but there is only so much shit you can pull until people are arguing online about whether you're the biggest piece of s. in existance or the coolest person for not giving a s. ... but at some point it's supposed to backfire. Girl was shown in an attempted 2nd degree murder here, what's good Riya... wtf writers. So unneeded to this extend. It feels like they just want their own little Alejandro vs. Heather thing in the finals but both of them aren't nuanced enough for that. Riya is too terrible of a person and Connor is the writers favorite who can do no wrong.
@@titanenwurz-uwutopia RIGHT! I noticed how the final is full of decently rich people Connor is self explanatory (my original comment) Riya is a literal actress (+ your comment) Jake has a rich grandma And isn't ally a streamer? Wouldn't she make lots of money too?? Or maybe I didn't pay attention to the story line The final 4 is so boring. And odd nation's writing made me take a whole ass 1 half-month (?) break from watching episode 14, as it was such ass writing I genuinely wanted to cry Having weekly episodes is horrible. They rush their writing and can delay things, this is probably one of the reasons riya is so inconsistently written, the writers are so fugacious they don't dkk it expeditiously, because it's impossible! You need time to think and I feel like jared (or whoever established weekly eps) is pretty much rushing their team! Seriously, Odd nationd has from chill out on the "unexpected winners", I don't want them to pul a total drama season 2 reboot. I DON'T want an unexpected winner! I want a winner who actually worked for the money.. And actually deserves it! A good example would be gabby, grett or ellie I think gabby would donate it to help nature and stuff, and also, it would make ellie proud! Gabby wanted to win for Ellie, and I respect that Now Ellie is pretty self explanatory, wasn't she struggling with money or something?? , but maybe it's for the better she got out since she became quite callow and rushing Now grett.. Man she would've been such a 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵 winner! At the end, she started to strategize and got her head back in the game, she also had to listen to Yul yip yap. Her elimination made no sense to me, and should've been better executed at least.. Or maybe im saying this because I'm a professional grett glazer 😛😛 Ok ok maybe most of the people I listed didn't deserve to win and I'm just biased, but what would jake, connor and riya do? Ok maybe I understand ally but all of the options remained make me sigh, hell I'd even root for riya because the remaining characters are just so... ugh Long yap session tht probably makes 0 sense.. Whoops, sorry it's kinda late and I might not know what I'm talking about
@@Gege-Farewell I'd argue any of them winning is a stretch. Riya already made it to the final 2, and her winning is just.. no. Jake would be fine in theory, ignoring the fact he's close to and living with Miriam, who had already won a season. Conner would make some sense, but he's already rich. And I don't like Ally.
HOT TAKE:I think a Damien and Scary Girl ship could work in season 3 of total drama reboot to help develop both their characters while giving them valuable screentime. Scary Girl loves Damien's screams so the desire is there. She also wants to learn to be more normal and Damien would be the perfect person while Damien wants to get out of shell and be more fearless (to better win challenges) so scary girl can help him with that aspect as well, they can learn fearlessness and normalcy together. On top of this, Damien was constantly teased with Scary Girl props, even after her elimination so the framework is there. This could become a better version of Ripper x Axel, excelt enjoyable, leading to chsracteer development, and helping to underused fanfavorites get more times to shine. Its a win, win, win.
And ofc there’s people on Twitter saying anyone who dislikes Riya has “no media literacy”. Criticising Riya on Twitter or some RUclips video comments will have tons of people call you stupid or “media illiterate 🤓” Great videos as always!
onc is realizing all their plot holes and trying to fill them in as quickly as they can. everything is started to feel rushed and predictable now. like riya’s sudden change in heart is so rushed, she’s suddenly feeling remorse when she’s been showing none of that all season.
The drama with Trevor and Emily wanting to get the show shut down is especially annoying because of specifically him. He acts like a literal toddler. And I get fans have been shipping Trevek since the beginning, but sometimes a ship not being cannon is what makes it fun. I WOULD'VE been interested in the "Former employee trying to get the show cancelled" line if it wasn't practically a 2 minute scene every episode, and more handled like the thing with Jensen in season 1. It's like they suddenly got cold feet to tell an actual story in the background of the in-show show. I think Connor's going to win at this point, and hand the money off to some of the other contestants he feels are deserving of it. And after the Grett elimination, I don't really care to watch the rest of this. Jake has had his growth but is meh and still childish, Ally is just annoying and also childish, Riya has overstayed her welcome, and Connor is also meh. The ConRiya drama is boring. Maybe the next season, if there is one, will be better. But this one is not it.
My least favourite is honestly Trevor lol. Dude's become a whining baby just because his crush is dating someone else. It may have been fine if Derek was cheating on him or even just rudely snubbing him off, but they've presented Derek as wanting to still hangout with Trevor so Trevor's just acting like a toxic obsessive admirer lol.
Yeah. Derek has done nothing wrong and yet he’s getting all this shit. I honestly hope Trevor gets called out for his bad behavior cause this is just terrible
THANK YOU. Apparently when Krystal likes Derek she's in the wrong but Trevor liking Derek is absolutely the way to go. Derek has his own feelings, and isn't entitled to what Trevor wants.
I really feel if Trevor wasn't that obsessed with Derek, they could make Trevor x Emily, they're cute together, it would be a small story about moving on. While that's happening we could get more stuff with what's happening with Derek and Krystal, and how she's doing in her first relationship and Derek conforting her, they could be the power couple It didn't need to have that much drama, even if it is the objective of the show
I don’t really care about Emily but the fact she has the audacity to ruin disventure camp and Kristal’s reputation because she got herself fired is absolutely ridiculous to me
@@voodooedits785 I like Emily but I have to agree. Krystal didn't personally attack her, she just fired her for violating a lot of their rules. The show always portrays Kyrtstal as the bad character in her arcs.
Everyone saying that Yul should have been in the final 3/4 is so funny, he's probably the most consistent villain of the series and one of the most entertaining, him being in the final 3 or 4 would have been more enjoyable, cuz there would have been an ACTUAL villain/antagonist also he never went to the final 4 which could have been a great opportunity for his character and maybe expand on him on how he became that way.

Im surprised not many people seemed to mention Ally's extreme inconsistencies this ep. Why does she only care about getting jake out of the game and pissing him off as she can 3 episodes in a row and now suddenly cares abt the game and votes with jake? In ep 16 she would do everything to get Jake out or make Jake mad, but in ep 17 she suddenly cares about the game?

@mandu859 I agree with you but Ally voting Aiden to be strategic wasn't her goal (she admits to Jake that she just voted Aiden to get back at Jake), it technically IS strategic but only as a bonus for Ally as it was never her actual intention.
@@alphysthedinosaur5832 This is the part where its so inconsistent. She votes Aiden, which is a strategic move, but explicits clearly in ep 16 it was only to piss off jake. Imagine watching TDI Season 1 and seeing Heather start having "2nd thoughts about her actions" while in the final 5. The audience wasn't going to just *forgive* her for all the shit she did prior to that. This is what I feel is wrong with Riyah.
My theory is that they only eliminated Grett so that in the losers motel we would see more of her and Yul. ....Which is upsetting considering her winning would have been a great arc
That would be God awful if it's true. After Yul left, Grett was showing how good of a competitor she was (like in season 1). It was the perfect mix of her growth as a person emotionally, while still looking at the competition AS competition. The way she got Alec out since she knew she was flying under the radar and basically manipulated the group in her favor was one of the highlights in this season for sure.
I'm not quite sure why people were so upset with Connor saving Riya. I mean...look at that height. If she falls she could die or get badly injured. Connor wouldn't leave her to die. The stuff after that, such as Connor being happy with the kiss...yeah that didn't make sense. Like that proves he still has feelings for Riya, even after everything she's done in the last few eps. Huh? Okay, THANK YOU for explaining the problem with Connor. I was on Twitter and everyone was hating him and I was just like 'what? Why?' I honestly didn't realize how much of a main character he was. Now I get why people dislike him. I personally don't care too much because I adore Connor and love him being onscreen, but I get why people dislike him now GRETT WAS ROBBED! Grett was absolutely robbed. She should've won As for Riya, she could've been one of the best DC characters if written well. Ngl her saying the things she did would probably result in her losing her entire career soon, and I predict she (somehow) finds out her career is coming to an end, she freaks out, and loses (also she's definitely making finale based on how much the writers like her. Connor too) Also... Another person who knows TDNG! Will you ever make videos related to it?
SPOILERS Mentioning OSC,I believe that the final 4 was done better in Inanimate insanity invitational then DCAS for a few reasons 1: They are all characters with very good arcs so they are all rootable 2:The arcs haven’t been dragged for too long and they actually make sense compared to Jake and Ally. 3:The season actually have eliminations that make sense which are both strategic and shocking an example is Cabby’s elimination 4:they had more time to make each episode the problem with disventure camp weekly upload is that the quality gets worse and this leads to nonsense eliminations If u guys have opinions abt this id love to here 😊
i rewatched the prior seasons and it’s so rough because the production of this season is stellar but every character is so derailed and just different. the only saving grace for me is if connor wins. idc what people say about rejoiners, i have no idea why there’s such a negative stigma, but he has by far been the best winner candidate since he has come back
It’s just seems unfair for a rejoiner to win, especially if they missed a good chunk of the competition like Connor. The others have at least fought through every challenge, every elimination ceremony, every day… but Connor hasn’t. Plus he’s become a character that just really aggravates me lately and as Lechgang pointed out he’s clearly a writer’s pet and it’s just irritating.
It is a stigma because he wasn't there for a good chunk of the game. It's like a marathon runner using a shortcut, it's unfair for the ones who were there from the start and worse for the viewers who know nothing about the rejoiner.
For me it's not about rejoining, is about the absolute favoritism the writing team has towards him. Every single thing revolves around him and it'd be the most predictable and undeserved win, as all the "obstacles" he overcame were exaggerated by the writers, it just doesn't feel real or plausible
@@Mikey_573 He missed about 5 episodes, and he still had to work for it. Not only was he taken out originally by shitty writing, but even if he wasn’t he had to still work tirelessly within his own comeback challenge and all the challenges after that especially. As long as the story is narratively satisfying, I see little issue to why being granted a second chance- a second chance you had to bust your ass to get mind you- wouldn’t be a completely normal occurrence. Especially out of everyone else left, now Grett is gone, he has by far worked the hardest under the most pressure before, and after. Also, “writer’s pet” or not, he still serves as a de facto main character like how Gwen did which isn’t inherently wrong for a season to have if handled correctly. I would argue outside of some of the Riya scenes (episode 17 in particular) Connor’s favoritism has only served to push a better storyline for him and his own personal development, just as it did for Gwen in TD, Heather in WT, Priya in Reboot, et cetera. I think that rejoiners COULD absolutely feel unearned, but Connor is a strong exception to that idea in nearly every way.
Jake has had that protagonist energy ever since the show started, but unlike Priya in Season 1 of Total Drama 2023 I don't think it was done right. The drama between Tom, Aiden and him got dragged for too long, which was partly Tom's fault but Jake was the main issue half the time. Then they tried to "develop" him and sure he made some smart plays, but suddenly he would regress and become annoying, especially with the whole Ally thing which I think was a stupid writing decision. And when you think he's getting better, BOOM he causes Riya to get into the final three.
I think people are blaming a lot of the season's problems on the wrong things. Truth is, for the story they seem to want tell, booting grett now makes perfect sense. The problem isn't the elim order, its the story the elim order revolves around. The connor/riya stuff isn't compelling in any way, its pure melodrama, same for jake/ally. Grett could've been a satisfying winner, but she doesn't fit in any of the storylines happening, so she has to go.
These are largely my thoughts as well. I'd be perfectly fine with Grett being eliminated here if it had proper set up and everyone else was even half as likable as she was.
@@Lechgang it's kind of why I don't really like discussions about elimination orders as a whole. It's just seems like people being upset for the right reasons, but blaming it on the wrong things (I am also pretty peeved that grett didn't win, but it makes perfect sense considering everything) Also I appreciate the shade you're throwing at danny and megan lol. Rewatching legends was a pain because of em.
@@saiyanscaris6530 I don't really want it to be true, but considering the trajectory of the season, I think jake is next. They're clearly trying to build up a connor win here, and considering that jake seems to be helping connor move around, not only would it be strategically smart for riya or ally to eliminate him, but it also puts connor in an underdog situation, making his win even more dramatic. After that, riya and ally are interchangeable. I would've said ally 3rd and riya 2nd, but after this episode trying to give the idea of ally going in the same path as riya, I'm not so sure anymore. My bet is that ally betrays riya in some way during the finale, connor either saves her again, or this time completely gives up on her, and then he has to beat ally.
I can agree this is my least favorite out of the 3 seasons. EASILY, it started out fairly decent but after episode 13 it started to go downhill… like seriously.
This is the worst final 4 in the series! DC1 Alec is a cool villain with a nice layer of sympathy Ellie is the most complex character in her season Fiore is a great main villain Miriam had a decent arc in episode 5 and is the only good guy left DC2 Aiden was actually likable and had, y’know, a personality this season Hunter is a cool guy James had a pretty good redemption arc Riya’s villain arc was actually solid (except for betraying Rosa, which made no sense). She also had some complexity that time DCAS Ally is either completely boring or completely awful Connor’s character revolves around Riya and is a constant pity party Jake is a whiny, self-centered jerk who the narrative always babies Riya’s complexity is near non-existent. They say she’s complex, but all we see is Riya being a brat. We needed more moments like Ellie had with her being sympathetic or decent
@@kyslighthearted9101 I'll explain he may be temperamental but a kind person flawed (and in a greeting apologizes to Karol (unlike Riya) ) he's snarky a good friend to Lake and gave up the chance at a million so James could win (gave him push you say)
11:18 Here's the thing, Disventure Camp does do this. We see things like this with Gabby's inner struggles with herself or with how Trevor and Emily. Obviously, in-universe there aren't two Gabbys and Emily and Trevor's plotting is supposed to be behind everyone's back. So I don't know why they didn't do something like that with Riya.
I was so incredibly annoyed by Jake for half the season, I can't believe he is one of the better options for winner now. At this point I want Emily to win, cancel the show queen.
the other problem is they would have to break lots of total drama trends here for a winner. riya cant be a finalist twice in a row, jake already has miriam who won a season, conner is already rich in a way thanks to his father so ally would have to be the winner to even make sense
Grett's storyline took way too long to even progress, but God, she was my only saving grace. With her gone I guess Jake's the winner. He has a lot of screentime and has won two immunity challenges.
i honesty hate trevor like blud does not deserve a relationship as he clearly ain't ready for one he's acting like a literal child just because derek was unknowingly ingnoring him for a bit to hang with Krystal whom he liked and is moving up trevor does not voice he is upset about this until now so why is he mad how could derek know he felt neglected bro didn't tell him and now he trying to ruin the show because krystal got with derek and on top of that derek has actively been trying to hangout and trevor turned him down like has nothing to be mad about and yet people act like derek is doing something wrong
Trevor is acting like Derek rejected his marriage proposal goldfish cracker in the middle of the playground and pulled a Bowler Hat Guy/Goob by never dropping it.
@@xvgm24 Mainly the total drama reunion stuff, he did a thumbnail of tom mcgillis as a clown during the whole total drama reunion thing, and his reaction videos to total drama fanart wasn't recieved well either. He also did a lot of clickbait on his channel about leaving total drama, but then he didn't.
What stupid is that it has been shown that Derek does want to hang with Trevor but Trevor is being a big baby about this situation when 1) Kristal didn’t know about Trevor crush 2) Derek didn’t seem to show any signs of having a crush on him.
I feel like they're setting up for a connor and riya confrontation in the finale, where connor doesn't win, but finally gets through to riya and she has a last minute redemption. It seems like with this move they were removing all hope and doubt from connor's mind so he'd finally play to win, no holds barred, against riya. They've also seeded doubt into riya, probably to ensure not only her redemption but her inevitable downfall, as that new doubt will be the hesitation either ally or jake needs to win it for themselves. I think neither connor or riya will win. they're either setting up for the "villain win" a few people wanted, but in an unexpected way, as ally has now become that villain, or finally redeeming jake and making him useful for a heroic hero win. I'd be down for either tbh
and break total drama tradition of not having someone be a finalist twice in a row especially a villain. not to mention shes a famous actress meaning shes rich and shes basicly a worse person than all of total drama (dont count mal since hes a different personality from mike who are both the same person and hes gone now anyway)
your reviews are basically the only way i catch up with this series, i gave up watching myself after episode 14 LOL. would be interested to see you expand more on the writers’ pet stuff surrounding suitcase, i know ii2 episode 15 should be coming soon so i’d love to hear you talk about that when it comes out ^^ love your content btw!
I Cant Believe How Horrible This Episode is That i dont even want to watch the finale. They Eliminated Grett Prob the best developed character This Season (Which Doesnt say much as barely anyone got development in the first place) Over Riya Who has Overstayed her Welcome FAR Too Long
How I hope things work out tho I doubt it 4. Connor (I hate him) 3. Jake (I hate him) 2. Riya (I hate her but her character isn't done with the story) 1. Ally (I don't like her but I like hunter)
While I've really liked most of what they did with Connor since his return, I do have to agree with him becoming a writer's pet, even though it's probably more to do with the outline and not Michael Kim's writing. I thought they would show more of his flaws after his backstory but he still remains especially hyped up and a focus of every episode since asside from episode 13 (even though that would have been a good chance to establish the dynamic between him and Ally more over yet another Riya scene). It's funny how Jake is being called a writer's pet when he hasn't got much focus in the second half of this season and when he was the main character it was focusing on his flaws.
@@saiyanscaris6530 Jake got the most screentime in the first 10 episodes, but I don't think he would have in the most recent 7 episodes although he likely will overall.
jake is my LEAST favorite character in DC as a whole, but I gotta say jake is one of, if not, the only good character left.. grett shoulda been in the finale to be honest!
Honestly Grett's arc made literally zero sense from a writing perspective. Like she turned into a completely different character in All-Stars and then her arc was just her turning into season 1 Grett. And that really made me not like her because she could've been so much better, just imagine if she was season 1 Grett from the start, we could've had a Grul villain power couple and it would have been great. But I guess I do think it's a little funny that it's implied Yul was a good influence for Grett because she's way nicer to people in All-Stars.
I don't think it was out of character for her to go back to her season 1 self, more because I don't think she ever left. It feels like it makes zero sense because Grett didn't do ANYTHING until Yul left. I would've loved if she was "pulling things behind the scenes" and also cooperating with the villains as protection since she flew under the radar so much. Also, her planning feels out of character since it doesn't get anywhere. But I due love the idea that Yul was the evil force holding her back from playing how she wanted
Ever since the show has become weekly, I feel like there's been a downgrade in quality in terms of the writing, arcs, etc. I cant help but to think the show is being rushed. Missed when there were only 2 episodes per month, so the crew would have more time with them to make better episodes.
probably started getting rushed due to people CONSTANTLY LEAKING THE EPISODES ONLINE. at this point it feels like its lose lose cause there gonna lose money either way
Riya should not only have been lambasted for letting Aiden fall she should have been BLACKLISTED FROM THE SHOW! This kind of thing works in total drama and I guess for Yul's elimination in season 2, but it sure as hell doesn't work for what DC is trying to do when Riya leaves Aiden to die, breaks Yul's foot and burns a ton of equipment, almost drops rocks on multiple people's heads in the rock climbing/zipline/puzzle challenge, and now intentionally knocked Connor off a horse. This goes beyond "she would be criticized" SHE WOULD BE INSTANTLY EJECTED! In survivor there is a certain season where a mentally unstable player nearly tries to get into a fist fight with someone. He was ejected and blacklisted from ever returning to the show even without getting physical with anyone. AND RIYA HAS ACTUALLY ALMOST KILLED PEOPLE MULTIPLE TIMES! If DC wanted to be taken seriously than Riya should have either never returned or been ejected the moment she set that stage on fire or tried to drop rocks on people's heads. Also Riya did things in multiple challenges that should definitely be considered cheating. Also Also: "I can't believe Riya would stoop that low!" Wow. They just keep finding ways to make Ally dumber huh?
Hunter's elimination was starting to be the rise of Ally and she had potential to be a finalist. Then the whole bickering with Jake started being more prominent and she started to go downhill from there
1:35 sorry for commenting a lot but i feel like both sides have their rights and wrongs. Derek always had feelings for kristal and canonically has ZERO IDEA why trevor is mad. He also doesnt control his schedule and NEVER ASKED for favoritism. he trued hanging out w trevor many times and kristal either told him no or trevor did. it's not rly like it's up to him. with trevor, i side with him a little more bc ive been in his position before but i might be being biased BUT its only fair to feel upset and betrayed when youve been mistreated by your boss like this, he never wanted to be mistreated. i just feel like they need to try to understand each others pov, and so does the audience bc not a lot of ppl understand this from what ive seen.
why did this stupid show HAVE to be the thing my brain stuck to?? every single new episode is worse than the last and it’s so annoying yet i still watch them everytime ☹️
I feel the same way and the same thing happened to me. This show had potential, but the writer's really screwed everything up. Not helped by the Disventure Camp community/fanbase being a bunch of brainless dolts.
i hated how everyone was saying riya "ate" connor during this episode. this episode was so hard for me to watch, idk what to think of riya but the writing most definitely ruined her character development
I like Ally and all but what redemption does Ally need? She isn’t a villian what so ever and the only thing that she did bad was leave Jake in the cave with a bear, other than that she is just playing the game
Not only should Riya have been disqualified for pulling off something like that, but Connor has every right to press charges on her because she could've paralyzed him for life or even killed him
Honestly if they had saved Grett it would have saved the show for me. I was hoping for her to win this round, like right now she's the one that's growing as a person, in the last season she was one of the villains but here she's very much improving herself. Here she came in with a much better outlook on herself and even seemingly caring more about others, sure she was with a loser but she eventually broke up with him and became much more sure of herself. She became confident. Her arc didn't have to end like this and honestly would have made a great finale to have someone who's actually improved fight for the win. Like for me she deserves it. But no now were dealing with contestants who I honestly just don't like at all, Jake has his own boat load of issues which if you ask me still haven't been directly addressed. Especially his feelings issue of him thinking he's 'owed' affection. Ally has become worse and overall unlikeable with how she's handling the 'don't think about what others think'. Connor is just...well he's not bad and I was honestly surprised he finally snapped and I don't blame him either. But he's very out of place and seems to only be brought back for Riya's sake rather than any actual story continuation with him personally. Riya on the other hand I just want her to go, sure she didn't mean to hurt him like that but her time is up. The writers seem to be ignoring established events, much like the questions game and Alec's words, we're not seeing any sort of follow up let alone any sort of actual relationship building with the interns that just seem to be there to fill up time. The team is doing an amazing job with animating but if you ask me the writing needs to be polished more. Though it's an indie production so I give it a little bit of leeway but I would bring on more experienced writers.
If Grett had done ANYTHING before Yul got eliminated, I'm sure people would've been rooting for her left and right. And despite that, everyone was playing Grett's game after Yul wasn't holding her back anymore. It really showed the power she had and how her season 1 self wasn't truly gone. Also in just five episodes Grett stayed more consistent than all the finalists in the whole season. Jake and Ally are annoying ever since the whole bickering started and they keep regressing after showing signs of improvement, Connor's fine but it's clear what the reason was behind him coming back and Riya... yeh...
My main gripe with this episode is that it's now painfully obvious of who's going to win. Riya isn't winning because it's Riya, Jake is more of a support character for Connor now, and I doubt Ally is going to win especially since I imagine that there will be both season 1 and 2 competitors in the finale, and since Jake is the only season 1 competitor left then I imagine they'll keep Connor and Riya in the finale for "drama". Connor also is now technically considered an underdog thanks to his busted up ankle, and Disventure Camp just loves their underdogs. The only way I don't see Connor winning is a massive stretch but since the last episode is called "Put to the sword" it's most likely going to be sword-fighting related. Also factoring in how Emily is trying to sabotage the finale, she's going to end up causing something that might lead to someone dying. Like the swords might be fake at the start but then Emily replaces them somehow? It's a stretch but maybe something like Riya ends up stabbing Connor, they've technically killed people in the show before so I wouldn't put it past them. If that does happen I imagine Connor will probably live but be fatally injured, meaning technically Riya would win, if you can call that a win. Then it turns out that in order for the surgery to happen to save Connor she would have to give the money up and pay for it herself. It sounds like fanfiction but considering the last few episodes I could see a universe where that happens.
Riyah is a missunderstood character. People think the world is just a bunch of people willing to be sweet and kind, with a great mental health while it's way more complexe than that. And saying we never could see Riyah's real thoughts is a straight lie or a proof of missunderstanding because we did so many times making her actually intresting. The show would have been super boring without characters like her or fiore in season 1. Not everybody grow up to be a nice person and that's literally because she "loves" connor that he suffered the most from her than anybody else. That doesn't mean what she did is valid. But that doesn't make her less of an intresting character because she isn't meant to be a nice character in that show or at least until she overcome her fear for the public's thoughts
With all due respect, I don't think you understand what my point was. I never made the claim that all characters need to be sweet and kind. I also never claimed that characters who are vindictive and villainous don't have a place in the show. I'm not saying that Riya is a bad character because she's mean, that's far removed from what I'm trying to get across. The concept behind Riya's character could be interesting and complex, but the execution makes it fall short for me. We DON'T get to see Riya's real thoughts, not as much as we should. We get brief moments in Episode 13 and 14, but we don't actually see these thoughts clash with her actions until this episode. And by this point, I think it's far too late. She's not misunderstood. I understand the intention perfectly, I just think it was handled very poorly- and as such Riya isn't as complex as the writers intended. But I respect your opinion if you think she is.
@@firechillbro720 delusional about ? The only debatble thing I said was Riyah being a complex character. The rest are literally facts from previous episodes and seasons.
connor's va is currently writing the episodes and over time, connor's gotten worse and worse as he becomes a writer's pet you know who else got this treatment? HUNTER IN SEASON 2. That should be A MASSIVE RED FLAG if connor's writing is starting to become similar to Hunter S2.
You know we're in for it when not even half the video has passed and the only thing left to talk about is that "actor" we all hate, Riya. Please for the love of god, they need to just stop trying to make Riya and Conner work. It's not gonna work, it's not satisfying, Riya is not sympathetic, NOTHING about this is good. God at this point I just don't want a winner period.
If I had a nickel for every indie show inspiring a character off of Bojack and not understanding what made his character work, I’d have two nickels which isn’t a lot but weird it happened twice. That Twitter post annoys me a little. It wasn’t their intentions but really does feel like they are hyping Riya up while saying we are dumb for not seeing it. Again, I’ve seen this before and I know that’s not the intention. But sometimes creators can struggle to show what they wanted a character to be and get defensive when fans don’t receive it well, as Riya is probably their most hated character
Aiden has a line In episode 6 where he says that it was hard for him to get auditions because he was a reality tv star so Riya being famous makes even less sense.
Most of the charm that comes from riya (at least to me and I'm guessing the rest of her fanbase) is how over-the-top she is. Obviously IRL we would hate this type of person but like yul, we need someone like this in the show to move the plot forward - also i just like the plot of her acting like a villain on camera despite not being evil deep down idk I think it's interesting 🤷
NAH, BECAUSE GRETT HAD THE CHARM ! Grett had the charm and the incredible strategies which made the show interesting. I was sure she will become the main antagonist of the show and make the finale. Because you don't need to be evil or annoying in order to be an antagonist 💀 she could've took Alec's place and mess up with the other's minds in order to get further in the game. I'm so sick and tired of Riya's plots, they're so annoying and uninteresting. I don't give a crap whether she's good or bad or if she'll ever get back with Connor. They ended all the good plots in order to keep the worst plot ever. So at this point I just want Connor or Riya to go home and end this whole thing.
@@itotaldramacourtneyi658 I agree Grett had the charm, but the issue is she had the charm after a GOOD 13 episodes of doing NOTHING. I don't remember her doing anything notable before Gabby's elimination, It's a shame Because I loved grett in s1 and late s3 but Riya was at least evil from the beginning and I feel like her sass is what makes her more fun for me, I'm not EXTREMELY invested in these characters so for me all I really need is someone fun characters and I feel like riya is just that
@@Darus4711 When I caught up with AS , the show was at episode 12. I made a tier list after it and Grett dropped down like 3 tiers. I was really disappointed by All Stars Grett. I was on board with where they were going with Riya at first because I thought they were giving her a "She's too far gone and has to be stopped." type of arc where she fully embraces her villain side and won't be redeemed, and I thought episode 15 solidified that... now I'm just confused about where we're heading. Riya seems like she's going to get some kind of redemption...and its just too little too late. They keep making her do worse things every episode! We only have 4 episodes left. How the hell is she going to have a remotely satisfying redemption and ending to this weird arc they are givingher? Riya was just done ao dirty.

I really disliked how they executed Riya this episode
Why is she now suddenly. giving so many extreme signs of regret? If it was because of Brian then why? I guess it's not that sudden but this wasn't her first time doing something that seemed like a sudden change. Also what she did to Connor at the end was just too far, idc if she's visibly sorry.
"You're not suppsed to take everything the character says as the truth" yeah I know but she still sucks😭
Why not just give her her own show instead of letting her eat up this whole season
i agree with this.
to be honest, i actually quite like riya, you can tell that she's still good deep down and i do find her interesting but why spend the entire season on her and connor? and why just now? yeah in my opinion, it's too little too late. and riya felt bad and did emphasize with her when she couldn't apologize because of the cameras and i know it was an accident, but yeah she still should've apologized 100%, why would the public care if she did anyway? theyre just gonna hate her bc she was a bad person in that moment. in the real world she would be absolutely cancelled
I absolutely despise how every elimination needs some sense of drama or somebody voting randomly to make sure the final vote is a 3-3-1 split with one vote remaining (lookin' at you Tess)
People who suck should be getting everybody ganging up against them.
Which wouldn't have been the case if these storylines weren't dragged out, and the only character he has to interact with is the one guy in camp who constantly praises him, for good reason, But still.
btw before the elimination connor says:"Grett is trustworthy" and votes for her, this episode is so unserious...
@@juanito7191 It's the off-screen magic. I thought he was voting Ally and making it a tie 2-2 between Jake and Grett
(Oh yeah there’s Aiden as well)
Not to mention that Jake and Ally are annoying as hell, so neither would really be a good winning option.
Gabby is bland, Yul would've gotten out eventually, Grett didn't do anything significant for 13 episodes and Alec and Aiden were kind of meh

Tbh I liked Ally alot and I thought she was solid enough to win
Don't know how to feel about ally anymore
This episode (along with other specific episodes.. And why was ally so suspicious of her like bro hold your horses she was just asking who to vote
Jake (currently) being calmer than everyone at the moment shows how many things are going on at once
Yul being your least favorite...

I noticed how the final is full of decently rich people
Connor is self explanatory (my original comment)
Riya is a literal actress (+ your comment)
Jake has a rich grandma
And isn't ally a streamer? Wouldn't she make lots of money too?? Or maybe I didn't pay attention to the story line
The final 4 is so boring. And odd nation's writing made me take a whole ass 1 half-month (?) break from watching episode 14, as it was such ass writing I genuinely wanted to cry
Having weekly episodes is horrible.
A good example would be gabby, grett or ellie
I think gabby would donate it to help nature and stuff, and also, it would make ellie proud! Gabby wanted to win for Ellie, and I respect that
Now Ellie is pretty self explanatory, wasn't she struggling with money or something?? , but maybe it's for the better she got out since she became quite callow and rushing
Now grett.. Man she would've been such a 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵 winner! At the end, she started to strategize and got her head back in the game, she also had to listen to Yul yip yap. Her elimination made no sense to me, and should've been better executed at least.. Or maybe im saying this because I'm a professional grett glazer 😛😛
Ok ok maybe most of the people I listed didn't deserve to win and I'm just biased, but what would jake, connor and riya do? Ok maybe I understand ally but all of the options remained make me sigh, hell I'd even root for riya because the remaining characters are just so... ugh
Long yap session tht probably makes 0 sense.. Whoops, sorry it's kinda late and I might not know what I'm talking about

@@saniajoyland Yeah but like, half of the characters don't really deserve to win imo
This has nothing to do with the video in question but I’d argue there’s a chance this would be better than whatever is going on in this season
i got so confused if the comments were glitched

Great videos as always!
Right? Like, I don't even care. There are complex characters who are still undesirable or insufferable and I would say that's even worse
onc is realizing all their plot holes and trying to fill them in as quickly as they can. everything is started to feel rushed and predictable now. like riya’s sudden change in heart is so rushed, she’s suddenly feeling remorse when she’s been showing none of that all season.
While that's happening we could get more stuff with what's happening with Derek and Krystal, and how she's doing in her first relationship and Derek conforting her, they could be the power couple
It didn't need to have that much drama, even if it is the objective of the show
I don’t really care about Emily but the fact she has the audacity to ruin disventure camp and Kristal’s reputation because she got herself fired is absolutely ridiculous to me
@@voodooedits785 I like Emily but I have to agree. Krystal didn't personally attack her, she just fired her for violating a lot of their rules. The show always portrays Kyrtstal as the bad character in her arcs.

She votes Aiden, which is a strategic move, but explicits clearly in ep 16 it was only to piss off jake. watching this episode actively felt like my soul was getting sucked out of my body
Same and I got spoiled beforehand.
I personally don't care too much because I adore Connor and love him being onscreen, but I get why people dislike him now
GRETT WAS ROBBED! Grett was absolutely robbed. She should've won
As for Riya, she could've been one of the best DC characters if written well. Ngl her saying the things she did would probably result in her losing her entire career soon, and I predict she (somehow) finds out her career is coming to an end, she freaks out, and loses (also she's definitely making finale based on how much the writers like her. Connor too)
Also...
Another person who knows TDNG! Will you ever make videos related to it?
TDNG is a bit harder to talk about than DC and TD, but I will most certainly give it a try at some point in the future. :)
After Episode 11 if you told me this was our final 4 I would've not believed you in a heartbeat...oh how shameful this final 4 is
Same.
SPOILERS
Mentioning OSC,I believe that the final 4 was done better in Inanimate insanity invitational then DCAS for a few reasons
1: They are all characters with very good arcs so they are all rootable
2:The arcs haven’t been dragged for too long and they actually make sense compared to Jake and Ally.
3:The season actually have eliminations that make sense which are both strategic and shocking an example is Cabby’s elimination
4:they had more time to make each episode the problem with disventure camp weekly upload is that the quality gets worse and this leads to nonsense eliminations
If u guys have opinions abt this id love to here 😊
I was WAITING for this ever since the episode came out.
i rewatched the prior seasons and it’s so rough because the production of this season is stellar but every character is so derailed and just different. the only saving grace for me is if connor wins. idc what people say about rejoiners, i have no idea why there’s such a negative stigma, but he has by far been the best winner candidate since he has come back
What about jake
Kinda think it's intentional now that they make every other character unlikeable or frustrating to watch so that we actually like Jake in comparison
It's just seems like people being upset for the right reasons, but blaming it on the wrong things (I am also pretty peeved that grett didn't win, but it makes perfect sense considering everything)
Also I appreciate the shade you're throwing at danny and megan lol. Rewatching legends was a pain because of em.
@@Kobaaming090 so if you think of it that why who do you think will be the winner of the show due to storyline reasons

At this point I want Emily to win, cancel the show queen.
The fact that Emily, an intern, is twice as likeable than the possible winners says a lot
the other problem is they would have to break lots of total drama trends here for a winner. riya cant be a finalist twice in a row, jake already has miriam who won a season, conner is already rich in a way thanks to his father so ally would have to be the winner to even make sense
3:37 I love when he brings up characters from other medias when characters apply here
Grett's storyline took way too long to even progress, but God, she was my only saving grace. With her gone I guess Jake's the winner. He has a lot of screentime and has won two immunity challenges.

It's funny how Jake is being called a writer's pet when he hasn't got much focus in the second half of this season and when he was the main character it was focusing on his flaws.
i think its more of because they both get the most screentime

At this point I'm more excited for these reviews than the actual episodes
Grett feels like the Damien of all stars people want them to win but they get robbed near the finale. Plus they barely get screen time at the start...
At least I would prefer getting voted out by queen Julia than fucking Ally
Ever since the show has become weekly, I feel like there's been a downgrade in quality in terms of the writing, arcs, etc. I cant help but to think the show is being rushed. Missed when there were only 2 episodes per month, so the crew would have more time with them to make better episodes.
probably started getting rushed due to people CONSTANTLY LEAKING THE EPISODES ONLINE. at this point it feels like its lose lose cause there gonna lose money either way
Why isn't Yul isn't in the final 4. Why is Riya is in the final 4
Istg if Connor wins it's just favouritism it's so annoying to the point I prefer JAKE to connor-
1:33 YEEESS I wanted that for so long, I don't want Trevor and Derek, I want Trevor and Emily to be canon. They would make a cute couple.
3:47 Nahh I didn’t expect to see Megan here dang
LEXI THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS STATING FACTS.
9:28 REAL.
honestly im excited for s4 to see how they handle eliminations in the future
why did this stupid show HAVE to be the thing my brain stuck to?? every single new episode is worse than the last and it’s so annoying yet i still watch them everytime ☹️
I feel the same way and the same thing happened to me. This show had potential, but the writer's really screwed everything up. Not helped by the Disventure Camp community/fanbase being a bunch of brainless dolts.
lol it’s a nice touch you put the effort in to do the bfb team name thing
i hated how everyone was saying riya "ate" connor during this episode. this episode was so hard for me to watch, idk what to think of riya but the writing most definitely ruined her character development
3:09 THIS OH MY GOD.
Riya, please, PLEASE, just be eliminated!
Wait.. So.. The only pluses are.. Horses? 😭 Lmao, it must your least favorite episode
Horses :D
@@Lechgang Yussss, BoJack's the biggest icon for throwing Riya 😍
Crazy how she gets a redemption and not Ally.
I like Ally and all but what redemption does Ally need? She isn’t a villian what so ever and the only thing that she did bad was leave Jake in the cave with a bear, other than that she is just playing the game
True, but the creators are making her unapologetic and turning everyone against her
@@ShapeShifterVee agreed tbh, idk why the creators want people to hate her that badly
@@Valentina-ci8ww They love Riya so much they want to have a brunette version of her 😍
Not only should Riya have been disqualified for pulling off something like that, but Connor has every right to press charges on her because she could've paralyzed him for life or even killed him
Honestly if they had saved Grett it would have saved the show for me.
Jake and Ally are annoying ever since the whole bickering started and they keep regressing after showing signs of improvement, Connor's fine but it's clear what the reason was behind him coming back and Riya... yeh...
I just love when odd nation cartoons eliminates all the good characters in favor of Riya despite us knowing that she isn’t gonna win.
The delusion is insane bro 😭🙏
@@firechillbro720 delusional about ? The only debatble thing I said was Riyah being a complex character. The rest are literally facts from previous episodes and seasons.
connor's va is currently writing the episodes and over time, connor's gotten worse and worse as he becomes a writer's pet
you know who else got this treatment? HUNTER IN SEASON 2.
That should be A MASSIVE RED FLAG if connor's writing is starting to become similar to Hunter S2.
At least the only issues Hunter had was him being boring and his immunities not amounting to anything since he didn't contribute sh*t to the season
9:49
That's an acknowledgment of Riya as an unlikable character.
I agree with this but the execution of it just ain't it.
I don't remember her doing anything notable before Gabby's elimination, It's a shame Because I loved grett in s1 and late s3 but Riya was at least evil from the beginning and I feel like her sass is what makes her more fun for me, I'm not EXTREMELY invested in these characters so for me all I really need is someone fun characters and I feel like riya is just that
@@Darus4711 yet conner made it this far doing nothing for most of the episodes yet hes in the final 4
@@Darus4711 When I caught up with AS , the show was at episode 12. I made a tier list after it and Grett dropped down like 3 tiers. I was really disappointed by All Stars Grett. I never understood why she took so much bullshit from Yul, it felt like a totally different character. However, I'm even more disappointed that she left AFTER SHE GOT GOOD AGAIN.

No wonder Connor is a writers pet, the head writer since episode 14 voices Connor
