@@candyish You could also just send the eprom, cheaper shipping that way. I have a kit I can send you that would protect the eprom from static or anything harmful during shipping. You could also buy an eprom programmer, but those cost about $60
It sounds better in person, the mechanism for the prototype is a little different than the produced models too. The head, mouth and tail have metal rod supports, thats why the mouth looks so loose too as it doesn't use a screw to hold it together
I think the plaque is made of cheaper material and i dont really know if it is hand painted as it looks like how the produced models were painted, just with a lot more detail

The tail moving might be a little out of sync with the music. It should be slowed down a tiny bit so that the dancing and singing musical Christmas fish could move the tail in sync with the music, or with the beats of the music. Or something… Idk.
You should send this to cj webbler, he rips these and checks them for excess or unused audio and you only pay shipping.
Ive been thinking about it but im skeptical of doing so
@@candyish I can def get where you’re coming from on that

I love it, it's so high pitched

@@candyish Interesting. My Rock King Tommy bass has a metal rod head support too
Being a prototype, I imagine the plaque is made of some sort of resin like material and the paint job on the skin was done by hand, right?

@@rockymarbles let him be. we tried to get him to quit, it won't work.
It looks like the photo on the box! Where did you get it?
I got it from ebay
@@candyishhow much was it?
@@kjw21411 i believe it was 39 dollars
What the hell is an eprom
Nice find! What's the ROSC value on this?
What is an ROSC value? And how do i find the value of it?
@@candyish ROSC is the abbreviation for oscillator resistor. In a prototype, it is located on the EPROM module board.
@VDCGuyRepairs Ah, so this uses the post-1999 Sonix verification module.

I agree but all of the produced ones were programmed like that so it's on gemmys end
@@candyish So it’s up to Gemmy or something? Idk.
I saw this on eBay!
the mouth moves weird why is that
Instead of having a screw hold the pieces together, its being held together by a metal rod
I thought it was snapped. Interesting, I've only seen bootlegs do that@@candyish
@SlimothyJimothy I'm pretty sure the 2000 billy models use the same mechanism as this one, my 2000 billy does, not sure about the others
