I Love this man. Seen in the Eighties in Milan when he was at the top, and I was really a huge fan, a concert I will never forget. He literally changed my life
Just discovered this bloke, thank you RUclips (and to the channel owner for posting the video). I really like him. I'm not going to say he is the greatest player or singer either, but for me, the total is greater than the sum of his parts.
yea agree... I gotta try to match this slower cut....but then again... I gotta get all the notes first...lol ( I can only play the pretty easy parts....)
I hear Leo chain smokes mariajuanna cigarettes before he comes out behind the curtain and plays, that is what they say in Santa Cruz, anywise. it really makes no difference in his performance, can any one tell? lol
There’s magic in that right hand. There are lots of great fingerstyle guitarists out there, but no one sounds like Leo. His tone is unmistakable.
Seen Leo regularly since 1978, most recently in 2019. Just don't get tired of his music. Thankfully!
Just saw him tonite in Derry NH (seen him live many times over 40+ years) and he is amazing as ever and so hilarious!

@ Carlo Gerelli :I agree. I think a lot of people miss the boat about his genuine genius. He has changed my life as well.
I was about to say the same!
Leo Kottke’s “Greenhouse” was one of the first albums I owned way back in 1975!
This song goes above and beyond! Wow! What a riff!
Busted Bicycle!! Haven't heard it in forever. Long live Leo and his music!!
Brings tears to me eyes!
I saw him at the Waikiki Shell in 1977 he was so much fun, he is still the best, amazing.
Leo, so amazing.... The beat of the fingerstyle acoustic guitarists..
leo is great, a wonderful guitar lover!!!
The coolest guitar tune ever
That lower tuning makes it sound so mean! Damn!
This tuning is actually higher than original

Aged like fine wine.
still amazing
10 Years ago , yeah I remember that show in Hamburg !
What else to say than - great to Leo´s music ^^
lots of great cuts of this song by Leo and others.
How great he art! Gabriella Quevedo is great too!
Saw him play years ago.....AMAZING!
On one of the old albums , he did this song blindingly fast. It's neat.
+Guitar Dude Actually, as impressive as the original album...this just GROOVES a lot better.
This version of Busted Bicycle sounds much funkier than the studio version
It has higher tuning
He slowed it down, and his thumb is nailing those fucking bass notes
0 dislikes. Nobody doesn't enjoy this beautiful noise
Fine intro there to the second tune.
awesome tour!
makes me get the crocodile tears on corrinna corrinna.. i hear b dylan l armstrong and others have used it for inspiration and comfort..
Great video's.. thanks!
Leo shreds as usual, thanks for posting, and thanks Leo, when is his next Florida tour>?
AHHHHH
3:50 tuning and taking at the same time.
He takes open tunings and drops them down one or two tones. Less stress on the neck, but dang it it’s hard to temper the strings.
sounds good
a genius
Happy Friday peeps.
I think I like the slower tempo in this version better than faster studio version, but I do prefer it on 12-string
(Referring to Busted Bicycle... the first song in the vid)

Uh, no.
That statement is really stupid, even for s.c. And I remember the people in s.c taking stupid pills.
Not alot of drugs in Santa cruz, too much to do, and Great Music too
A little slower a little funkier
