It's almost as if they could use science to back trace when Easter would have actually landed in 33 A.D. so that Easter could be a consistent date but noooooooo, that would be against tradition.

They “announced” trans gender visibility on March 31st day 15 years ago. It’s been on that day for 15 years. Easter falls on the 31st every 30 years or so.

Fun story of Easter coinciding with another holiday one year. In 1853, Catholic Easter happened to coincide with Orthodox Easter. In Jerusalem, monks and priests of both sects arrived at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, thinking they had been promised the right to use the church. Was ensued was a violent brawl that led to about a dozen dead priests and monks. Russia and France both pressured the Ottoman Empire to give them control of the holy sites. When the Ottomans gave it to France, the Russians threatened to invade. They then gave it to Russia, and France sailed their flagship right through the Bosporus strait with guns loaded. They gave the right to control the shrines back to France, at which point Russia invaded. This was the start of the Crimean war, one of the first modern wars

@krp9555 That is correct. He found huge amounts of evidence of wrongdoing by the Trump organisation. He wanted a far larger prosecution of Trump than has occurred. Despite what Trump said, it was Alvin Bragg who STOPPED this from happening when he took over as Manhattan DA. Pomerantz resigned in protest. He wrote a book "People vs Donald Trump: An Inside Account" about it.

Believe me, when you buy a stock like that you are required to read and acknowledge a waiver that states the SEC has not evaluated or regulated the viability of the investment AND that you have sufficient funds to absorb the loss if the stock becomes utterly worthless.

The argument I’ve heard my entire life is that it doesn’t literally say “separation of church and state” in the constitution, which is true, I believe it was mentioned elsewhere by one of the founding fathers (Jefferson?) in a separate writing. I would argue that even if the constitution doesn’t say that verbatim, the first amendment protects freedom of expression and religion, and you can’t have that freedom if one particular religion is endorsed by the government over all others and over lack of belief in any religion entirely. Just be prepared for the people will split hairs as much as they can in order to justify their Christian Nationalism/Fascism. Vote Blue 2024!

I just can’t get past the irony of how his supporters claim to care SO MUCH about the constitution, but completely ignore the violation of the line between church and state.
They refuse to believe it's in there, just because that exact phrase isn't there, which is like objecting to a speeding ticket because the law uses the phrase "exceeding the posted limit" and doesn't actually say "speeding."
They use the Constitution the same way they use the Bible - extract one or two phrases they want to distort for their own purposes, and ditch the rest.
They believe what they believe is in the constitution, not what’s actually in it.
They care about the parts of constitution that are convenient to them. Nothing more.

I believe the most disturbing thing that has come out of the Trump years, is the fact that our Supreme Court has absolutely no intention of enforcing the Constitution In respect to Trump. We've already seen when it came to the disqualification of Trump due to his insurrection, the Supreme Court said the Congress had to take action. This despite the fact there is nothing in the Constitution that even remotely suggests that. And now in addition we know that the Supreme Court threw out cases concerning the violations of the emoluments clause, two additional, direct constitutional mandates. Claiming any violations we're now mute because he was no longer president. Well isn't that a pretty little pickle, you can't bring charges while he's president, the Congress can only impeach him and then bring charges against him, and once again by that time he won't be president anymore.

I can unequivocally state the founding fathers would be absolutely sickened by the courts misinterpretation and undermining of the very principles of the Constitution.
There is no way they would have thought that a president who gathered a group and encourage them to march on the Capitol with Confederate flags would not be subject to the insurrection clause of Constitution.
There is no way they would have thought that a president could make millions of dollars from businesses whose primary profit is through foreign dignitaries and foreign leaders renting space in his properties. Nor through nepotism, that his daughter and his son-in-law would have access to 2 billion dollars immediately after leaving office.
*Or very fact that his daughter and her husband, (who was incapable of getting a security clearance ) work In high level position in the administration all while profiting from foreign governments..
In this situation the only thing worse than Donald Trump is the Supreme Court. Because the next criminal may not be as obvious or ignorant or clownish as Donald Trump, now has been given carte blanche. And that is truly dangerous to our democracy.

While the supreme court is definitely rewriting the constitution to fit whatever right wing politics want it to be they don't necessarily do it with Trump. He asked them to overthrow the election and they declined. They are thinking beyond Trump. There is no longer established law till they get what they want and if they have to throw Trump under the bus they have done it.
