Get some essential oil make sure it’s essential oil peppermint mice do not like peppermint. Keep that in diffuser in your home and spray some around your patio and other area areas. It will run them away.
You can see the mouse run out of the couch near the book case, when you lift up the corner cushion. You might have to play it back really slowly to see it. At 27:08 in the video. They are so FAST that if you blink you’ll miss them. But I am so happy for you that you caught it! Ultrasonic pest repellent plug ins. When we stayed at air bnb on vacation in California, that is what they used. It repels but if they come in it will kill them. You can put a couple on your patio which might keep them from coming in. They are safe for pets.
Please get some peppermint oil for the mice, add it to cotton balls, and place them around your home. You can get some "Harris Diatomaceous Earth" food grade powder and the peppermint oil in with it and put it round inside of your garage to keep rodents, mice, and lizards away from your home.

I take lessons and have gigs with all my teacher’s students twice a year. This summer I did three gigs on my own. I was scared to death to do my first solo gig. To do something that scares you is brave. Now I don’t have a week long anxiety attack before gigs anymore. You were brave to do something that scared you too! Give yourself huge credit for being brave!

Yep, you definitely leave where the field mice live. I think you said you used a trap to catch one and that’s great just don’t use poison, we did years and years ago in an older house and it fell between the walls in our bathroom and it was horrible. We had to live with that stench forever. I am looking so forward to your Christmas decorating videos. A cat is a great idea, I live in the woods and have mice everywhere we see them run across the road so often and when we moved in 3 years ago we had a huge mouse problem then we got 2 cats and I haven’t seen a mouse in over a year and the last time I saw one it was dead already bc of the cats! (Cats pretty much take care of themselves too so huge perk) I have a gravity water and food dispenser for them and only have to fill them once a week!

Just make sure your food is stored in acrylic and glass containers and they will naturally leave if there’s no food source or crumbs anywhere, doors are not enough to keep them out

I purchased the Grand dutchess 9' tree online at Home Depot and went to pick it up, and they said they didn't have any left. I didn't know it was the viral tictoc tree. They sold it to me on their website even though they didn't have any left. Then they gave me a refund and told me no stores in my area had any left. I looked at all the locations online and found one 1 hour away that had 3 left. We had them bring it to the front so we could walk in and get it. It's a very beautiful tree!
I live in the country and have field mice.I use uktrasonic rodent repellents plug in an outlet, i have rodent spray repellent from home depot thats safe for hunans and oets its all natural and is mint scented mice hate the smell of mint, i also have mint growing the whole perimeter of my house, inalso was told to use moth balls snd I throw them under our house as that's how mice are getting in, around perimeter of the house and in the shed and garage. So far do good.
We have 3 cats and a dog. Never see any mice. We started out with 2 cats and 2 dogs. My dog was getting real old and having health problems. So we had to put him to sleep. Our son passed before that so we have his dog. But what they are saying about getting a cat. It definitely works.
Plug every hole that you see that comes into your house with steel wool mice cannot shoot through steel wool if we did it in our condo and we haven't had any problems since

I live in the country. I have feral cats that came with our property. I’ve seen dead mice and moles outside. But we’ve never had one in this house. We’ve been her four and a half years. We lived in the city before here and got a mouse in our house there. My youngest daughter was either moving back in or out of our house. And the movers brought a box in from our garage. That mouse was in our house for a while. I never saw it. But we got Decon and put it under our big pieces of furniture. We have three small dogs so we had to put it somewhere they couldn’t get it. That stupid mouse died under my living room sofa. And it stunk. My husband finally looked under there and found it. He got it out. I feed all the cats we have here everyday and give them treats. But they are outside all the time. So they will chase and catch anything that moves and kill it. Mice can get in around pipes if there are any openings. We had them at a house we lived at years ago. They are sneaky little things. I need a robot thing for my windows and patio doors. Between my husband and my dogs none of them are ever clean.
We have field mice also. I have poison out in the garage and shop and always finding dead mice. We don’t have any pets that can get ahold of the poison.
We have been married 46 yrs and lived in 3 different houses, in fact have been in this one for 25 yrs and have never had mice.....until now. My husband set a trap today so I'm hoping he catches tonight. Eww they are disgusting and I feel so dirty. I've only found droppings in 1 of my lower kitchen cabinets and haven't seen or heard it so I'm praying it's 1 and not a family of them!
Hey, to solve your mouse or rat problem you have to get 2 outside cats 🐈 .....outdoor cats . I had the same problem some years ago the cats solve the issue and I am not a cat lover but that was one fear I've over come in this life😁 so try it.
Hi Michelle…We get field mice often because we have a field across the street from us. They were getting in the pantry. So I went to Home Depot and bought this aluminum strip for the door with a brush attached across the whole bottom of the pantry door. The one I got , the aluminum piece has holes so we lined it up on the inside of the door with the brush against the floor and put screws in the aluminum You can’t see it on the outside of the door at all and it was tight sweeping on the the floor. I think it’s some kind of weather stripping…it works perfectly. I’ve never had a mouse in the pantry again and it’s been over 15 years. I’ve seen some weather stripping made of rubber and plastic but the mice might be able to eat through that. If you try this idea make sure to measure the door all the way across the bottom you need a tight fit against the floor. Or try Amazon..I don’t think I had Amazon back then…lol. Good luck! I enjoyed your video and love the table lights you got..very pretty! I just looked on Amazon for the type of weather stripping I have…look for ‘Deco window door seal’ for $24.99.
Then you’ll get cat hair all over that couch, where there’s crumbs or any type of food hangin around you may expect mouse drops. And they will come for the cat food too !
Getting a cat creates just another level of mess. I know you like to DIY but don’t mess around with vermin. Contract a pest control company ASAP!! The pee and poop already has started to contaminate your home. They are not something to procrastinate about. Their size belies their destructiveness. Sorry, just my two cents!
Dont get cat they bring mice in aswell i live england they have pulled old garages down where i live am petrified of mice we have caught 72 in 6months ive had sitting room plasterdall holes vents filled cost me fortune where theres 1 theres a thousand we had epedemic on eastate of holes in ground i was crying gona move out the lot we set traps peanut butter on caught the lot seen none now for 5 months bt still have traps set thats all you need to do if a see anymore am emigrateing you 😂😂

Unique oil lamps. In the summer, you can prob burn citronella oil to help with mosquitoes. Loving the updates.

I found glue traps work well for mice. Put a small chip w/a little peanut butter in the middle.
