I have a 2012 Jeep Liberty. There is wetness on my drivers side carpet floor I’ve noticed. Research shows the cause to potentially be the a/c hose being clogged. Any idea on where to locate/fix this problem?

is it water or is is anti-freeze ?
      check that first....

I rebuilt my ac on my 2012 with 07 parts and the pressure sensor plugs was different and I swapped them would that effect anything?

Hey, I changed the compressor and expansion valve on my jeep liberty a few days ago. The old compressor whined real loud when clutch was engaged and after a few days now my new one is too. Any idea what that’s about?

What are your high/low side pressures values when it whines?
Try spraying wd40 on the serpentine belt and see if the whine stop. If so, replace the belt. If not check something else

My A/C refrigerant pressure is about 180 psi while the AC is turned off. Is that a problem? Local mobile mechanic replaced a/c compressor and recharged, but it shuts off intermittently every 10 seconds or so when it's hot outside. Fan doesn't blow well when it's hot or cool

Which fan are you referring to? Cooling fans or blower motor inside car fan?
AC pressure at 180 is a bit high, but I'd say "ok" when system is off, BUT... What's it reading when system activate and compressor is cycling? Does the low side drop to 40- 50psi? What's the high side increasing to?
Things to check, ensure the radiator fans are operating, they need to in effort of reduce high side pressure, without this it'll choke and deactivate.
Check your low side pressure to ensure it's reducing to about 40-50psi at idle.

Where is the expansion value located

hello, my compressor was bad, so i had to swap it out.
I went to a mechanic shop and i had them drain the system so i could work on it safely.
I went to drain the old compressor and it was dry. nothing came out of it.
The new compressor i bought had 4.4oz in it already, i proceeded to add 4 more oz according to the guide.
when i took it back to the shop i had them re charge the system. he said when he kicked on the AC the compressor made a nasty sound, as if it was going to lock up.
now im worried i added to much oil.
what do you think i should do?
    i also have a 2012 jeep liberty

Simply change the compressor again and don't add any additional oil. You'll be perfectly fine with the oil the compressor comes with.
On an untouched system, only replacing the compressor, there's still oil within the lines. So you have to be mindful. But 4oz in a conventional system is plenty!

@@partsshooter so, have them drain the system and replace the compressor with a new one?
right now my system has a total of 8oz plus whatever was in the lines.
i also forgot to mention when I went to drain the old compressor and it was dry. nothing came out of it.
should i just pay someone to flush the system and restart?

@@SilvestreVences from initially reading, I'm under the impression the AC isn't working properly, because of the horrible noise. Is the AC cold?

@@partsshooter i just want to say thank you for responding. right now it is blowing cold.
sorry, let me start over. my ac was blowing cold and it started loosing coldness with time. i tool it to one shop and they told me the system had a blockage somewhere but they couldn't figure out where.
i took it to another shop for a second opinion and they told me that my ac compressor was weak and that my expansion valve could be causing a blockage.
So i bought the compressor and valve from rock auto.
the new compressor from rockauto already came shipped with 4.4oz inside of it. i added 4 more oz on top of that cause i read that new compressors need 8oz of oil.
when i was done, i took it back to the shop to get the system re charged and checked out. they told me that the new compressor made a strange noise and then asked me how much oil i put in on it. i told him the new compressor had a total of 8oz. he said that it might have been to much but that it is blowing cold and to drive it around and see how it does.

@@SilvestreVences 🤔I'll have to side with the tech, if it's currently blowing cold, ride it out. I can understand it choking up initially because of the excessive oil having to push through the reed valves.
With high oil amounts you'll generally lose cooling efficiency. I'm still curious though, as of right now, it's working ok?
If so, just give it a few months...😎
