Hi Shane. Thanks for that. Still learning.............. I see that your ATC program is at O000. If you move it to O9000 or above it will become semi-permanent in the event you have to do a memory clear. I see the probe routine is at O9023 By the way, did you ever have a P/S 101 alarm and have to reset the memory? If so, did you lose the macro's?
I have my tool change test at O0000 just because I replaced the air cylinder a while back and left a program to do a few tool changes. The O9000 are generally tied to a M code auto run thru machine params. I do have M66 tied to a macro stored in the 9000 series that does the tool orientation and tool offset. I don't use it with fusion programs and just by preference put the tool change code in my post processor in fusion. I do have a manual 3d probe macro at O9023 which is a corner probe routine. I have never reset my machine memory. If your macros are not protected by param bit they will delete.
Thanks so much! Our all manual shop is getting a cnc mill with the same control in that I will be programming using fusion 360 so it’s going to be a learning curve haha
Hi Shane. Thanks for the info. Can you explain how you actually got those important measurements that you wrote on the machine with a permanent marker please? Thanks
Thank you so much! Great basics for us folks brave enough to try this at home. You showed the MDI screen said this is where you could run 1 command, but you don't demonstrate that. I have been trying and nothing has been happening, can you demonstrate that? Side note, when entering program addresses you say 0 for the first character, but that is a the Letter O, not zero, which might be confusing to some.
You are correct it is the letter O then zeros. On the MDI screen you would enter a command set with input or enter depending on control then press cycle start. I'll try to do another video to show how to do a spindle start or something simple from MDI.
@@ShaneBurrell1 i could activate of DNC mode, this option i found in Operator's Panel. One question, i want backup the setting, parameters and ladder of my Fanuc, but what is the file format for receive in TITAN DNC? how can i backup this in fanuc OM control??

Thanks for teaching. People in the ibdustry can be so uptight when i ask them at work.
You are very welcome
A lot of helpful info Shane! Should be a great help to people learning to work with them! Have a good weekend!
Thanks! You too!

It works great once you get a workflow.

I measured the offer to the "gage line" aka the face of the BT40 spindle.

Hi Shane, I have a machine with FANUC 0M Control, but in your Mode Select it haven't Tape Mode, Can I running the program from the DNC too??
You will need tape mode for DNC Operation
@@ShaneBurrell1 ok Shane, I got It. But, is it possible activate this Tape Mode for parameter or other???
@@davidcarao6421 It may be. You would need to look at how your machine is setup. Do you have a manual and ladder diagrams?
@@ShaneBurrell1 I have a ladder diagrams but i don't have the manual, i go to search in the web or forum. thank u Shane.

Hi, what post did you use for fusion?
Was it custom or just generic ?
Many thanks from the UK.
I wrote a custom one for my machine based on the fanuc generic post.
Thanks!
You bet!
