I see that this is my most watched video which is crazy, last i checked it was at 5k or something. doesnt even make sense. who is even watching this specific video lol? either way i really hate this video with all my heart , with a burning passion. if i only had one chance to go back in time id go back and stop myself from doing this video. i probably would have kicked down the door and bludgeoned myself with whatever was readily available just to prevent this from happening. i cant believe it.
either way pay attention to my current musical projects that have completely original music instead of PLEB covers. it would mean alot more to me than yall looping this video or whatever the fuck is happening. thanks!

Doesn't matter if you're 15, 30, 50, or even a lot older than that depending on how your body holds up. As long as your hands, arms, and ears are working, you're not too old.

Father Boss :D i do play bass and guitar!! i just find it really hard to find motivation. what motivates you to practice and such? i can never think of things to work on
GRAHAM learning another artists music helps me appreciate it tenfold , it feels good to understand more about the song than just listening to it you know, it adds more to that experience. It’s like when you read the lyrics and relate but some how you relate to what they play and how they play it. Aside from that I make the cover videos so I can get better at sound/video editing and make stuff I’m proud of. My means are super meager so it feels really nice to put out stuff I enjoy for others to enjoy aswell. Just let the potential and excitement snowball and you will be endlessly working on your craft.

How did you manage getting this bass sound? It sounds awesome
i didnt have pedals or an amp it was direct input into my interface, i just dialed up the treble alot and turned down the bass to pretty much 0, turned up the gain a little so the strings have sharpness and added a subtle echo and chorus

what pedals are you using? or like what effect? cause that sound is super weird and I love it
its news time child lots of treble , almost no bass, very little mid and slight delay and slight chorus

its news time child normally i use TC Corona mini for chorus, delay pedal was some pedal a friend made me so o don’t really what to recommend in that case
its news time child however for this video i just used built in effects from my laptop, so that tells you enough that it’s easy to mimick this tone w any kind of effects

Is a mega resource for chords and tabs, chords are easier to begin with but I recommend you try and learn how to read tabs. It’s super super simple. Also RUclips covers/tutorials helped me figure out how my favorite songs were played.

What tuning is this in and how do you get that slammin tone?
Nick Maxwell I made a digital input channel on my laptop, just shoot for a lot of high end and even some mids to add some punch but stay off the bass. The mustang bass also helps because the tone is a bit cleaner.
Sometimes it’s worth it to slap really subtle chorus and even a really tight delay.

I ran the bass through an audio interface and messed around with whatever Logic Pro X had available and kind of came across the precise tone by accident. But to answer your question heres Wyatts actual pedal setup I guess(?) could be baloney.

How do you get this effect on the bass?
Jackson Mclendon I run my bass through an interface and tweak it a lot in Logic Pro X. It’s a lot of high end and some mid end depending on what amp you are using, very little to no low end, slap a nice chorus pedal and a tiny bit of delay. I dont think that’s very helpful so here’s a link to Wyatt’s actual setup.

how did u manage to get that tone?
i plugged into my interface . meaning no amps or pedals.
i use logic pro x which comes with digital “amps” and digital “effects” so i just fine tune from there. honestly it’s the best way to do shit if you don’t want to spend thousands on gear and mics. everything i do is direct input. i hardly ever ever use real amps
but to answer your question more directly , it’s a bass tone with all the bass removed. you can add chorus effects but i notice wyatt stopped adding chorus effects. sometimes delay on the shortest setting will help draw out the rattling noise of wyatts tone

dockoston honestly don’t know enough to say yes or no, most of my time came through the amp and digital pedals I ran through my DAW
