No Michael, perhaps to you I left that out, but I stated at the beginning of the video, I was not making the template as I've done other videos on "how to cut rhinestone templates". This was to make a decal.
@@MarilynDIAZDESIGNS , thanks for the clarification. I'll look for a comprehensive video on your channel that shows everything. Thanks so much for making these tutorials!
Love this video! I needed this part to figure out the bling anything with the other materials to complete the decal. Now I feel confident I can do this!
Loved your tutorial video! Saw a few comments for you to edit and cut it short but to me is all good. Its good to show what could have gone wrong so we can learnt from your mistakes haha 😆. Thanks! Subscribed!
I'll have to give this a try.. The mini vac - does the stopper on the end come off so the excess rhinestones go through the handle into the bag? Or is it only used the way you demonstrated in the video? Decal looks wonderful x
I’m missing something I’ve watched your video over and over. After you cut the circles you poured the stones out and brushed them around to stick to your design. How did they stick in the exact spot? It was like magic lol was there a step between cutting the 2 circles and pouring the stones out onto image?
verajoy54 this is a font I purchased from TRW. So if you buy pre made rhinestone fonts you don’t need a rhinestone program. However if you’d like to design your own rhinestone templates, you would then need a rhinestone program.
My question is what software did you use to cut the rhinestone template? I have SCAL2 but apparently, I purchased a bad copy or something and it won't export properly and upload to DS at all. I'm so frustrated. Thanks in advance.
Hello Marilyn, can you help me? I would like the best machine to make rhinestone transfers can you recommend which one is best I’m going to do a lot of it thank you for your help
Hi there. Well, I have only been using Cricut machines so that's all I know. There is also a Silhouette diecutting machine out there that may have a better design program for working with rhinestones. I've been tempted to try it but my Cricut machines, work just fine! I love cricut products for their quality however, make sure you have a great rhinestone program. I invested in the Rhinestone Worlds Wizard program, although pricey, if you're going to do alot of rhinestone work, it's totally worth it. It will pretty much boil down to programming. Best wishes!!
Marilyn DIAZ DESIGNS Just a couple more questions if you don’t mind. So, the cricut maker and the Rhinestone program from Rhinestone world are good? And about how much is the program?
The decal I cut that is shiny on one side snd dull on the other, is a sticker, as described in the video. One side is for pressing the vinyl and/or the rhinestones and again the dull side is the sticker part, you peel the back of the dull side off to expose the adhesive. Thank you
Can you tell me how you get the rhinestones to fall in place in the template? I’ve tried some many different template and flock papers and I still have to put the rhinestones in one by one.
Make sure your holes on the template are the correct size for your rhinestones. Also, you'll need a painter's brush to brush in the stones. Hope this helps
Brianna Pruneda the blue fabric is called Magic Flock and I have a video on how to cut rhinestone templates for that on my channel. You have to have a rhinestone design program for that. However if you wanted to just layer vinyl onto the decal material only, you can do that by diecutting your vinyl first.
The one I'm currently using is The Wizard from TheRhinestoneWorld. Please check out their site. However these letters on this decal were purchased already designed. I downloaded and saved this monogram file as an SVG and let me cricut cut it. Theres another video I made with regards to saving rhinestone designs that are already made. Check it out! Thank you and be well and safe!
Great to see a fellow Cricut & SCAL user that can make those rhinestone designs. I love TRW!!!!! They are hands down the best. I'm still trying to master rhinestones until I can get the TRW Wizard & Corel. Is that a TRW monogram font you used or is it another font that you converted to a rhinestone template in SCAL?
@@cindyabbott780 hot fix tape instead of what? Hot fix tape is only your carrier sheet. It's what holds the rhinestones together before you apply it to something. I'm sorry, hon, I don't understand.
I have a cricut maker and really want to know how to make my own rhinestone templates for shirts. I have watched your tutorials and need to know where to get the Sure Cuts A Lot 4 software and is it easy to install and use. Thanks!!!
Angel Dunlap I previously purchased SCAL at svgcuts and yes that is easy to use. It is very basic. However I have invested in the rhinestone worlds Wizard which is much more pricier, however SCAL is a good start, especially for Cricut.

You literally left out the most important part of how to make your initials template on the sticky flock.

It's a magic flock template made for rhinestone designs with a bunch of circles. I'm going to do a video on the template.
Thank you for this video!!! So helpful!!! Can you tell me where you purchased your rhinestone monogram font?
Nice tutorial. What is the setting to cut all bling material in cricut maker?
Have you tried using the Cricut brand htv glitter vinyl under the rhinestones?
Do I need to buy the program for the rhinestones for making a pattern?

I’m confused about the materials. Are the transparent glitter and black HTV materials?
From where buy rhinestones?

Will the rhinestones not stick to 651?
I think it would melt regular vinyl since you have to heat set the rhinestones. I wouldn't recommend using vinyl vs heat transfer vinyl.
