    Love the fact I can work in the editor without having the SPD connected! Just alter the backup when I want and load this into SPD when done, thanks for this! 😊👍🏻

    Never new you could do that. Using the Spdsx as a line in monitor for inears monitoring. That is So awesome.

    The work this Man has forged for the Editor program is Amazing!! Brilliant! I've purchased 2 licenses already and most likely will get a 3rd for my new M1 Big Sur Mac. Thank you for all you do!

      Quick question?...how does FOH(front of house) hear what you are routing from the SPD-SX. I couldn't tell from video footage. It appeared as if you had NO outputs from SPD-SX. Did sound output from the MOOG?

      @@immagood2 Hi Tom. Thanks for your support :). Yes exactly, the SPD-SX sends only MIDI notes to the Moog. So FOH needs only the mono output of the Moog.

    Greetings! It seems these replies may still be fairly active; at about the 2:15-2:20 minute mark when you mention how you control the "volume in the back" in regard to the IEMs for the band IN to the SPD, can you elaborate? Is that controlled in the interface in on the screen in the menu? Also would I be able to differentiate volumes between the band coming in as well as my samples going out? Cheers, and thanks for this, especially the second hint, lord that's helpful!

      Hi. Happy to hear the video is useful to you :). As we are using the "Audio In" in the back for the monitor sound we can use the gain just to the left of the input to change the volume of the monitor input (2.20). From the front we can control the phones volume which will be a mix of the monitor input, the click, and your samples. With the master we can control the volume of the samples going out via the master and sub outputs. You also have to consider that the signal for your audio in can be very low or too hot so you have to check with the sound engineer too. I like to keep the gain not fully open so I can increase the volume in case we are louder during the concert then during the sound check or something changes on the monitor mix.

    Love the program, would like to see the license compatible with iLok so I don't have to purchase multiple licenses when I need to do changes out on the road

    Okay, I love using your editor. Have you considered expanding the software for other settings such as Kits Effects, Master Effects and other non-kit settings? I'm using your methodology of copying the Roland folder to my desktop to build and craft kits but when I copy that folder over to the Roland, any of the other changes on the unit itself (e.g. routing of effects through FX1) get lost.

    Hey there, that s nice. I m looking for more advanced features such as setting multiple samples on the same pad that would play depending on the velocity. Is this feasible you think? Would be happy to contribute to the efforts in case...

    • @spd-sx-editor
      @spd-sx-editor  3 года назад +1

      Hi. Unfortunately, the subwave does not support velocity. However, there are two options to achieve this. 1. you can use pad link in order to play the sounds of two pads at the same time or 2. you can merge the two audio files together using a DAW such as Logic, Ableton etc. and export one audio file out of the two. Using left and right pan you could even bring them out of different outputs.

    Hi, would it be possible to control lights with the SPD-SX?

    • @spd-sx-editor
      @spd-sx-editor  3 года назад +3

      Hi. Using the MIDI interface it would be possible to control light. However, this requires additional gear and software. The most common way would be to send MIDI data to a computer where you run a light show software. In the software, you would i.e. prepare different scenes and map them to the MIDI inputs. The software would then send the command from the light scene via a USB/DMX interface to your light installation.

    I also like Spd SX editor very much. Can any one tell me, what the button "Default" in version 2.1.16 does?

    • @spd-sx-editor
      @spd-sx-editor  Год назад +1

      The button you mentioned is a dropdown showing the tag assigned to the last selected wave in the wave list. Tags can help you to categorise and filter waves.
