Not gonna lie seen them in Buffalo Ny in March. I love this band got super drunk after the show knocked on the tour bus door and Blake answered the door and I was star struck and probably spewed some drunk gibberish and next day I felt terrible for bothering him. So Blake I apologize but you and the band are the best thing going in music and it is a shame more people can’t open their minds to the greatness you all produce !
Wow Tommy's vocal performance on this was INCREDIBLE he absolutely SLAYED IT! Amazing job as always from all of you and thanks a ton for uploading Blake! We love all these vids!
You guys are so unbelievably tight as a unit live, especially considering the length and complexity of your music. I really hope you come to Sweden some day! Even if it's a 9 hour drive to the other side of the country I'll go!
This is why Blake is one of my favorite drummers out there. His parts just fit the songs so well and they're fucking in sane parts! Amazing job Blake!! Cant wait to see you in Chicago again!!!
Blake, I just realized this was the show I went to. I saw myself down in front at about 1:23 in. Thanks for the blast beats and everything else. You guys are my favorite. And yes… I saw you point a stick at me. 😂
Seen these guys more than any other band, since 07. My first show was the Colors Live filming at Rockettown and I’ve seen you guys at the Great Misdirect release show with Glass Casket and 20+ other amazing shows. One of the hardest working and underrated bands in all of metal and even more underrated drummer. Colors II kills!
So I got to see y'all twice in less than a year and, let me tell ya, that shit just made my day. My goal is to see y'all as many times as I can before I die
Was such a great show and everyone fucking killed it. And now I can appreciate Blake's drumming even more with this video. I also found myself in the footage and can see how much of a huge dork I was at this show.
I never thought they could beat Para 2, but Colors 2 is easily my favorite album they have ever done. Start to finish it is just a fucking ride and a half. I got covid the week it came out and It helped me get through that garbage. I would sit on my couch with all the lights off and listen to it just floating.
Saw btbam in febuary of this year in asbury park. Absolutely incredible the perfect mixture of people with mouth wide open in amazement and mosh pits. Just incredible.
Finally I get to see the grandmaster do that fill..sounds tricky but damn he makes it look so easy..now to practice till my finghies bleed and it's stuck in muscle memory
Man, at the end I was really hoping that it continued into Fix the Error. Blake, you are my hero. Please tell me we are getting a Colors II Live concert on par with Colors I DVD.
In Berkeley, CA y’all had the best live sound mix I’ve heard at any show I can recall. It was perfectly balanced, full articulation was present, and just loud enough that I didn’t need ear plugs. And the performance was fantastic. Question: Do you always look at Dan when you mess up? Or is it usually Paul? I can’t tell but I’ve seen y’all live enough times to know the look by now and it’s nice to be reminded that you are in fact a mere mortal. 🤣🤣👏🥰
Blake, do you have a list/diagram of the current setup? If not, can you talk about the small drum to the left of your hats? It has a coated head, looks like a tom but perhaps a floating aux snare? Either way, this video was awesome and this tour is the first time I've missed you guys in about 5 years, first show I saw you was with DEP and Hella at the El Rey in 2005. Been a long time fan!
I missed this recent tour, were dustie and Paul on opposite sides all tour? I've never seen them in that configuration, ever. Even the twitch streams they were where they always are.
Dustie has been having back issues (presumably) since last tour, Fall 2021. He has been opposite Paul and not moving very much or very fast, and is often seen sitting.
@@Calabrel I saw him sitting last tour(tgm 2021), but he was still to Blake's left. Is this just the camera playing tricks with my eyes and he was actually still on Blake's left side?
sounds great, would love to see more of these!! i've been curious where you actually use the second ride on the album, haha, i saw you use it on a few old songs live on the last tour, i think?
The only place I can think of is there’s a section during Human is Hell where he does like some herta/triplet sounding stuff where he’s alternating between the two rides
I was curious to see if you were going to sing your parts live. They were one of the many awesome surprises from that album. Who did them in this video?
Juan Pardo, he's their merch guy or has been at least the last two tours. He brings it with the energy every time. Last tour he assisted with vocals on Swim To The Moon.
So consistently solid. I've been following your career since before you joined BTBAM so please don't be offended when I say, this is great, but any chance for another Glass Casket album??? I know the second album was more than I should have expected, but a man can always hope.

Don't sweat it homie. Compliments are always appreciated! Honestly you weren't even that drunk hahah
I did the same thing in Albuquerque 😆, Blake got my Automata CD signed by the band for me. Cool dude🤘🏼🤘🏼

Blake, you're obviously putting a premium on drum videos in terms of shooting (multicam drum vids FTW) and editing and we greatly appreciate it!
Absolutely appreciate it!!

A true master of his craft. You guys never disappoint sexually. I mean musically.
That snare... unreal. Been a pleasure following you and the rest of the band since The Great Misdirect.
Absolutely awesome performance bro!!!!!

Colors II is an undeniable masterpiece. Everything is top notch, including the quality of the recording. I love these drum videos too.
Those toms are actually unbelievable for a live show ! Truest form of great livesound right here

Untouchables.
The only band who can change their name to this and still have complete relevance.
Amazing
Can't get enough Blake drum videos, I could watch these all day.
Those drums are tuned sooooooooooo well.
Seeing you guys in Chicago in October for the first time. Trivium is my favorite band but I'm way more hyped for you guys.

The setup is so clean and that snare is incredible.
I really don’t understand how these don’t have at least 10x more views
Fuck yeah, I was at that show! Such a goddamn good performance.
Richmond?
That was at the Observatory in LA.
Such precision playing and that snare sounds BEAUTIFUL Blake! Great friggen job
Utter monster. Kit sound here as well is impeccable.

Which? 3:31?
That grey-blue kit is so sexy! Amazing performance!!!!
Legend!
Awesome playthrough, so tight. Has to be my fav song off the new record
This was my first BTBAM show, and you guys SLAYED it! This song had me grooving in the front row
So good. Can't wait to see yall again
I was at this show, can confirm, it was sick as hell.
Nice as always👍🏽
Man, at the end I was really hoping that it continued into Fix the Error. Blake, you are my hero. Please tell me we are getting a Colors II Live concert on par with Colors I DVD.
I think my favorite thing about Blake is how ridiculously technical the chops are, but first and foremost always still musical.
Awesome playing as always Blake!!! 🤘🏼
Solid as ever! Saw you guys in 2018 in Sweden with Plini and Tesseract. Good times 😁
Great performance man - you guys sound so sick!
This show was soooo good
Please upload a vid of The Future is Behind Us!
Freakin' great, man!
I love the snare sound
Can you dial back the talent a little bit? It’s kinda rude. :) seriously though, you’re so flippin good at this.

Yo Buddy! Thank you! It's just a 13" tom tuned really low. I believe its a coated P77 Remo head.
What is the super deep “snare without the snares” on his left??
Not sure but I'm pretty sure it's used for extra color in the drum solo in Fix the Error
Just a 13” Tom tuned REALLY low.
@@blakeyeatsteaky love it. It’s so rad and seems like a more efficient gong drum lol. What’s the head on it? Seems like a snare head or something

beef cake!!!!!!
I don't think he ever hit that 2nd crash even once.
That is a ride. I think he only uses it for the bell in a few songs. Obfuscation is one song that comes to mind that he uses it.
Did you know that Blake washes and conditions his hair twice a day? It’s true!
Almost as good as the BTBAM drummer😜. Go on Drumeo I need some tips.
Absolutely stunned he’s never been on there yet.
