I play with a group of people that actually make the game really like how it should be enjoyed. I think its an entirely different game when you have little rats in your vc

@@daniel_cl4rke I'm just making a point that some people can kinda get the game to how they like it by finding others that want to play the game in a similar style. maybe people that are a bit older (not crying burping screaming children (e.g. more mature)) and people that you can trust to not intentionally throw the game (or the spirit of the game). But the game honestly is designed for you to have to Jerry rig the match every once in a while, so you need a server owner/admin that is aware of the basic nuances of gameplay- if someone gets dc'ed in the beginning of a match they can be respawned after joining back.. if someone is particularly new you can put them in training mode to help them learn the game a lot quicker.. probably other things that I'm not thinking of. How you want to enjoy the game is subjective of course

Yikes this is the worst produced trailer since....well ever, the scopophobia trailer was even better. Of all things to showcase why these:
The trailer creator not enabling god mode to stop tesla gates from activating
Janky camera movement
A D-class straight up walking through an active tesla and not dying
Some real shoddy editing
049 reviving people like it's a new feature
079 blacking out a room like it's a new feature
How bad the playerbase is
How bad the optimisation is (you can literally see FPS drops at points in this video)
How inaccurate the guns can get at times during gunfights
How people who die just straight up EXPLODE into piles of loot (pretty sure that was said to be fixed)
Trying to show off 939's "mimic" ability without sound enabled on that part of the video (genius)
How the light bulb shatters on air particles in doorways (which it has since it was added)
Making us watch the whole reboot process of 079 losing signal like he didn't already get it in the first 2 seconds.
You guys should've just done a trailer like the "mimicry" teaser but based off what actually goes on in SL rounds and Site-02
Criticism is definitely needed here, while I’m sure we all appreciate the effort that went into this update, some changes need to be made. Firstly my biggest thing with this update is it seems guns have been nerfed I’m talking about recoil and damage to human characters, I shot someone with almost an entire clip of 556 AP and they did not die, and it takes multiple clips of cris vector to shoot moving targets meaning you can no longer be a 1 man army. Another thing, door closing seems Jenky, I go to close a door behind me I click e on the door or the button and a lot of times now it won’t work. Also, the animations for human players look half goofy especially reloading while walking backwards, and a constant hip fire animation. Another balancing issue, shy guy is now weak and almost always dies quickly. The double checkpoints are cool also bout the facility is obviously smaller which I personally don’t like. Lighting seems odd in my opinion, and scp 106 needs a health shield nerf but needs some bullet absorption back, and my final issue with this update, the game for me runs smoothly, but for some players the game will not run smooth at all, and even in my experience the game may not even load correctly when joining a server, I’m talking black screen until I rejoin. The update is a good concept but in my opinion it needs alot of balancing and overall more work, until then I’ll enjoy other games.

Hello, I played a huge update, but there is one mistake, when I go to different servers, everything stops, I ask you to fix this bug, I really want to play the game without bugs and with pleasure
As a veteran of this game who's been playing on and off since the summer of 2018 (i'm basing this date off my first achievement in the game), it's impressive how far this game has come.
I remember when guards, 939, SCP entities, most of the guns in the game right now, armor, flashbangs, CI classes did not exist. Larry also used to t-pose and so did the zombies. 096 had a different, lower quality model and did not have the OP tracking ability and all his other powers. 049 did not have his powers, either. SCP-173 used his Containment Breach model and did not have the powers and stuff implemented in Parabellum. There was no in-game guide (there was the long lost Tutorial though, and the Tutorial role is the only remnant of this as you played as that role in the tutorial) the menu screen was a projector projecting the menu onto a screen, the menu theme was different (you can actually play it today by going into the Audio settings and clicking the Classic menu track). C.A.S.S.I.E was not present either. The game was much simpler, just a bit bare-bones. So much in the game today was just not present. It showed how much smaller the dev team was, they just wanted to make a little SCP:CB-inspired multiplayer game for a passion project. Now it's more than that, but still, it's still free.
CI used to be a bunch of handful of dudes just running into the facility with only Logicers with their trusty hacking device to depend on for access. MTF ran in early with Cadets (now Privates) used to run in with some crappy red laser pistols (i'm convinced they didn't do damage). You were lucky if you got to be a Lieutenant (now Sergeant) or a Commander (now Captain), because you got this cool blue laser gun with a strange integrated magwell with a drum mag. Grenades used to be these weird ball-like shapes with multiple sides. The inventory was a box, and not a circle, and the COM-15 was a Browning HP and was also the only pistol in the game. Viewmodel animations used to be lower quality and very static. The lighting was a lot brighter, too. A lot of the rooms were ported directly from SCP:CB, and the elevator buttons were ported SCPCB models albeit edited slightly. The doors were not the custom ones seen today, they were also the same ones from SCPCB.
Things have been drastically upgraded, refurbished, revamped, etc. More SCP:CB ported stuff has been phased out, bug fixes, optimizations, new, simpler menu, truly so much I cannot list here. This update is just adding more to all these drastic changes over *nearly* 5 years. A full on revamp of the 939's (RIP SCP-939-89 and SCP-939-57) into ONE 939. New thirdperson animations, the COM-18 has a new model, tons of SCP soft reworks for 049, 079, 106, new weapons, SCPs have also been tweaked a bit asides from all the soft reworks.

This trailer was meh at best.
Its lackluster compared to the Parabellum trailer, no own OST, no good cinematography.
Considering this is a huge update with stuff like: 939 rework; 079, 106 and 049 soft-rework; voice chat rework.
With such huge changes I would have expected a better trailer.
At 0:39, REALLY? A cheap zoom-in? And at the end 15 seconds of black screen
It's a shame that you did this update's trailer dirty, would have been a fine trailer if you followed the Parabellum trailer.
The Beta was some of the funniest moments I've had in SL ever and god oh might was it worth it. From people literally fucking ascending to the voice lines people gave 939, it was fantastic. Thank you NorthWood.

The previous parabellum update trailer was performed much better, this one's editing is definitely shanky and could be improved. Cinematics aren't as smooth and i feel like some of in-game footage from the players perspective were unnecessary, but the audio design is perfect. The last ghostlight scene was just Northwood logo and some other clips could be put into this
