If a espresso it extracted correct(correct tamping pressure and correct temperature and extraction time) then espresso shouldn't be bitter. If your finding your coffee is overly bitter you may need to adjust the setup of your machine!
Hi there, The machine requires a grinder adjustment, usually finer for a stronger coffee. Due to the age of the machine, it may need the grinder to be further adjusted internally to get a better grind result.
Great videos. Just picked up one of these machines. Been using an older version prior to this one. When you were adding the froth for the cappuccino did you hold your finger on the milk button (top right) or will the correct amount just come through? Thanks

You can program the length of the milk or you can turn it off manually if the cups gets overfilled.

you need to go in the menu and under cappuccino select off.
I am currently drinking Macchiatos to eventually build up to Espressos becuase at the moment I cant stand an Espresso, to bitter.
