- This is more then just an "Espresso Machine"! It is easily capable of making any style of cappuccino or latte. With its low learning curve and capacity for producing between 50 and 100 cups a day, the Saeco Royal Professional espresso machine is perfect for home or commercial use.
This is an amazing machine. I've owned it for 8 years and more than 20,000 cups. I love it.
Hi GV, Thanks for the comment. Take good care of these machines and they will take care of you!
I have this machine at work and through 4 years it made over 75.000 coffees :)
Hi MT, Take good care of these machines and they go for a very long time!
Mine is like 15 years and still working. I didn't even take care of it.
@@Wholelattelovepage ours recently finally broke after a few repairs through it's 15 year run. It really was loosing much of it's pressure in the milk and it sputtering. The espresso was still coming out well. Do you have a recommendation for a similar product/features the manual and automation milk frother? We are based in Australia!
Yes, they do and we should have it in stock soon!
Great machine, 15 years old now with over 24,000 cups. Just replaced the water reservoir since that was cracking.
I was all ready to dish out $1500 for an ECM Classika and $1700 for a Ceado E37S. But yesterday, I visited an old bud who owns a Saeco Royal. Using Trader Joe's beans (and putting the grind on the finest grind), he made me espresso shots that were as good as any I've ever had. So, right now I'm thinking of just getting an automatic like this machine, because I was totally happy with its espressos.
My Saeco Royale Professionell on the Display show’s “ventilate” and doesn’t take water from the tank. What can I do?
Hi YG, You could try force priming the machine. Ventilate usually means the machine is not able to draw in water from the reservoir. This can happen after the machine has sat unused for a long time. Try turning the machine off and connect a hose to the water intake with some way like a turkey baster or similar to force water into the intake as you turn the machine on. You may have to fake out the reservoir water sensor to make it think water is available when the machine is turned on. Sorry I cannot be more specific but I do not have a Royale in front of me at the moment to verify the procedure. Here's a video showing how to force prime a different machine - procedure will be similar: ruclips.net/video/-SbpzdAXiok/видео.html If in US you can always give our tech support line a call at 585-924-7170 and they'd be happy to help.
''Saeco royal professional frother cappuccino'' I have a small problem the side frother not taking the milk any suggestion were do I start
Do they not have a new version of this model out ?
Very helpful technical staff!!
Hi John, Thanks for the comment!
How do you change the coffee sizes after it is set? I need to change the volume on each setting.
Hi Jessica, Use the press and hold method as described in the video. Here's a link directly to that part of video: ruclips.net/video/SaWD2wveq_c/видео.htmlm4s
hi I HV the machine but it's not griding the coffee beans ??
Hi Georgina, Is it operating otherwise? Did you purchase the machine from Whole Latte Love. You might want to give our Tech Support dept. a call at 888-411-5282.
Hi! i have that machine and my espressos doestn look that good and tasty, they look like sucks coffee, what do i have to do to make them look soo good and tasty? can you tell me the especifications? temperture? grind?
Hi, We'd need some more details but here's some general advice. It all starts with the coffee of course so use quality, freshly roasted beans intended for espresso. Try brands and blends known to produce a good cup. Grind should be adjusted to suit a particular coffee but if you're not producing good crema try grinding finer.
***** i was using a mexican brand called koba, im gonna try with illy, my question is, how do i get a finer grinding? should i put the grinding level on numer 1 or number 8? k could see in my machine that the grinding is not so thin as the espresso grinding, hope you can replay as soon as tou did wih my other wuestions, thankyou, Regards!

A couple things... If your shots are thin and fast go for a finer grind, towards a 1. Check to see if PreBrewing is turned on. It moistens the coffee for a moment before actually brewing and generally helps produce more crema. You can also adjust the coffee dose. If your espresso is thin go for a higher dose so towards the "+" side. You should try some different temperature settings and see how they effect your shots. Illy coffee should produce crema. You might also try Lavazza Super Crema or Indian Monsooned Malabar. They are a couple of the coffees we use that produce good looking shots on just about any machine.
I have a SAECO engine like this, but there is a message "fill water tank" roughly what should I do
Hi HT, Unless I'm missing something you should fill the water tank?
This was very amusing to read lol
hi, we have this machine, but showing 'Vantilate' after programing it.
what doew it means? Help Needed here.. 10x
+Miki Belo. Usually means to turn on the water dispensing thru the steam wand.
+Whole Latte Love thank you so much for your prompt reply. do you mean the black big botton?
Miki Belo.
Yes. Turn the big knob above coffee dispensing area.
I have this machine but I have a problem. Manual says that espresso (small cup) should run for approx 20 sec, but my espresso runs for maybe 8 seconds which is too fast and the coffee is not as aromatic as it should be (full beans Lavazza Grand Espresso). Any idea how to slow down making of espresso (water flow)? Thank you.
First things to try for a longer extraction time: Turn on pre-brewing which wets the coffee briefly before actual brewing begins, adjust the grinder to a finer setting and increase the coffee dose
To reprogram, press and hold the button until correct time as you want then release.
Next time, just press and release button and it will operate for the time you have reprogrammed it to run.
Hi i have saeco royal professional machine and i am having a small problem and i am asking for your advice how to fix this problem. Suddenly the coffee machine started giving half cup less coffee then normally. Is it because by mistake i reset the quantity of coffee or can there be any other reason for giving less coffee. I will be really grateful if you could help me in this matter.
Best regards
This really does sound like a simple case of accidental re-programming. When it comes to re-programming a Royal Professional, simply press and hold the button you want to adjust/re-program--keep it held down until the machine has brewed the amount of coffee you want to receive. Once you release the button, it will save the volume of liquid dispensed to memory.
The press and hold button technique doesn't work for me, it always brews the same amount
Hi VV, Hmm... are you sure you are doing it properly?
Whole Latte Love I press the espresso button and hold it, after I release it it keeps grinding longer, then when i press the button again it didnt memorize my previous action. Maybe its the memory.. the machine is 5 years old ;) A very good machine i must add ;)
Hi, It may be that you need to hold the button longer. I don't have the machine in front of me now to check for sure, but on most machines you must hold the button down until espresso begins dispensing and/or the screen indicates it's in programming mode. Happy to hear you you enjoy your machine and that it's given you 5+ years of service!
Whole Latte Love oh, thanks a lot for the answers, I will try it today again.. Have a nice day ;)
hi we have this machine and it shows that "rinsing warming up" how can i fix it?
+zeynep mert Hi, So it just stops at the message: "Rinsing Warming Up"?
+Whole Latte Love yes
+zeynep mert Okay. The message is a state-based test, so machine is waiting for certain conditions to be met. (namely temperature then flow).
One thing to check is if the pump is running or not.
Most likely issues (there are others but would have to be on tech bench to diagnose):
option 1: The boiler isn't heating, meaning it'll never rinse and proceed forward with the rinse.
option 2: The boiler is heating, but the thermocouple is dead. If it can't read the temperature correctly, it won't pass go.
option 3: control board malfunction resulting in the machine not providing sufficient power to heat the boiler!
option 4: if the pump *is* running and nothing's coming out, the pump is dead or the water circuit is clogged.
+Whole Latte Love so? is anything that i do now
+zeynep mert Most of the above problems would require service. How old is the machine? Has it been properly maintained - regular descaling and cleaning?

Great, until you pay $330 to repair plastic grind assembly. Plastic fails due to any gourmet, glassy beans. As for pre-grind, large cup dispense button delivers a watery 6 ounces, and no dispense level adjustment. This is far less than than dispense amount in the grind cycle, where dispense level is sdjustible.
Rival Capresso uses dual metal grinder, just as does EVERY stand alone burr grinder. Saeco just this week confirmed that it still uses plastic on all high-end machines. Now generally offered on eBay for $300. Fair given flaws.
Oh, I did not listen to the repair guy. Second repair for $320 That is more than $600 and no more.
Now dispense watery pregrind. Looking at Jura, which can use all beans.
