This was the first song I ever downloaded as a kid. It took me the whole night with the pc on. I slept by the computer, my father woke me up in the morning and asked what happened. I showed him that from that moment on I could play the song on the computer whenever I wanted to without a cd or tape. We were both amazed. Now with just a click a can watch the whole video on my cellphone instantly. I wonder what we can expect for the next 20 years

If I had to write a review of Cartoon Heroes, I would take ages. This is one of my favorites. It has so much packed into such a small length of time, and it doesn't run, it sprints. The team that put all this together really nailed it. Awesome.

I was at the age of 12 , during a graduation trip . I bought these Aqua cassette tape in one of the shop. I insert it to my walkman player , listen to this song along the trip. It is such an enjoyable precious memory. Thanks Aqua for creating this nostalgic feeling for me

When this came out, I had just got out of the Navy earlier in 1999, and I was living in a run-down trailer house in the middle of a mule pen in rural Oklahoma and delivering pizzas to take care of my wife and daughter. This song really put a capstone on the glorious decade of the 90's.

Waaay back we had a channel here where you could call in and, for a small fee, request a music video by number. Every request number would show up in the corner and waiting for it was like waiting on lottery numbers and was almost as exciting.

The hold AQUA had on my childhood and early adolescence is no joke. And this summer I'll probably be able to see them live for the first time (because they're going to a lot of festivals & concerts, and they're coming to Pride Barcelona!). Aquarius was such a good and underrated album. And Megalomania was also amazing. But of course Aquarium was an iconic album. And their videos have always been creative.
Ah such nostalgia! This and freaky friday were my fav songs as a kid. Looking forward to seeing them live in a couple days! :D

They were just so far ahead in understanding world pop culture, it is insane. Think of this song. Now so many Cartoon hero movies out every year making billions of dollars. Barbie Girl is the perfect antidote to dealing with the plastic age of the 1980's and 90's. And yet there songs were still so much silly pop fun. And I love their new older mature music. Sold millions of records, yet somehow still underrated.

The lyrics of the song is not just clever but a reminder to young minds who might copy what they see on TV.
The music video depicts heroes that are more human, that's why they are so relatable. Bruised and battered but won the battle. Small touches such as anti-gravity switch, running out of petrol and paying with a credit card added more a sense of retability. And of course, you think their spaceship is a Flying Object but no... it was also a submersible!
