I will never get over this song. The memories that always come whenever I listen to it are like if I were reliving those good old times when I was 12 years old. I loved watching this music video on MTV every time it popped up and I remember I recorded it on my old VHS to watch it over and over again. I miss those times when I was only worried about having good grades at school and nothing else. Adult life is hard.Anyway, I will always be in love with this song.

Im from China and this Aquas album is the first English CD my cousin bought for me when I was in fifth grade. I remember the CD is pink and Around the world is the second song. It’s been 24 years and I’m still loving this song. I still have that CD in my car! ❤
Aqua really put a lot of effort into their music videos making them interesting to watch in full while listening to the music. While I was a bit sad when they split I believe they did it at the exact right time leaving 2 albums packed with classics and leaving with a bang instead of slowly dying out due to the music scene moving away from europop. Well played Aqua, well played!

This is not some inconsequential pop song. This is Aqua's true masterpiece. I just love the contrast between Lene's childish voice and Rene's hard ass voice lol. I recommend this to anyone who misses the innocence of the past:(( A subject that anyone can relate to or wants to achieve "around the world". Politicians need to listen to this song so they can stop wars.

When I was little, I always listened to Aqua's songs. "Around the World" is one of my favorites, besides "Rose is a red", "Dr John", "Candyman", "Cartoon Heroes", etc. It's always fun to listen to Aqua's songs again to remember childhood because the video clips are always entertaining. FYI, I am now 29 years old this year, and the Aqua song DVD is still neatly stored on my music cassette shelf.
