Add chittagong to India. That's the only solution for fast growth of north-east. It's the distance and transportation, that lags North-east, nothing else. Having a sea route, little distance from Kolkata port, it will be great for N-E

The people of Kashmir should be thankful to Indian government. Atleast the government is providing them basic facilities like electricity with such mega projects. We in Pakistan side of Kashmir(Gilgit-Baltistan) lack basic facilities. From decades we are suffering from electrical crisis. A 3 mega watts hydro power project is under construction in my village from 20 years, as if a space project is going to be launched. The government is not serious about eradicating our problems. They only love our land not us.

Needless to say the videographers and their support group did a marvelous job shooting all the activities of this great project. Have I forgotten the Chopper people? NO. I haven't.The Pilot and his support group are such adventurous group of people, without their help and skills, the project could not have been a success. Hats off mates ! Thanks also for NatGeo. Despite the challenging project, what I liked that people were treated very well. This is a clear proof of how good a company this is. This is the reason why I love and venerate the company so much. Whenever I get a chance I will do volunteer work for them like as I have done before. Recently I met the company's CEO, Mr Arun Sharma ji and Pankaj Kumar ji in Delhi office and seeing their approach further increased my love and respect for company. The company had compensated the people well for the loss that people had suffered during the project. Ooh, mind-boggling hard work. Its a clever decision to choose the services of a Helicrane.
Heli-crane is a game changer, no doubt - but there is an Indian rider to it. All helicopters by design have service ceiling (where they can operate) of not more than 6 km, inadequate in Himalayas. Heights of more than 3 km in Himalayas (& Karakorum ), the loftiest mountain range on Earth, are normal. Anything above 6 km are aplenty all over this place. Helicrane efficiency at such altitudes drops too because of the height, resulting in less weight being carried to these heights & dropped there. It is so since engineers in West who designed them, have no idea of Himalayan heights. Such stringency is experienced nowhere else. Indian designers should take up re-design (or new design) of such helicopters with service ceiling of 7½ km (=24600 feet, for service in Siachen area) & a few special helicopters of 9 km (29520 feet) that can drop things over Mt.Everest too. Helicopters like these should be manufactured in India.
