    Happy to see such a massive project is getting completed well before time. Projects such as these should have been executed long before, but the Cong/ NCP combo plundered the resources allocated to Kashmir... 90% of the people of Kashmir are simple, humble and hardworking people who just want a livelihood. Project such as these only can convince them that only India's economic and technological might can ensure betterment in their lives. Another giant project ... the rail road connecting Jammu and Baramula with over 1000 bridges and 100 tunnels will be completed by the end of 2018, which will dramatically change J & K. Kashmir youth should be made aware of these developments.

    it is said that bucephalus the horse of the conqueror king Alexander of macedonia died here & was buried somewhere in this region... there is also a waterfall called noori chamb wherein noor jehan tge wife of mughal king jehangir used to spend time during their annual journey to kashmir via mughal road... mughal road is constructed upon the path that mughals used to travel to kashmir....

    For the jackasses screaming for 'freedom', travel a few hundred miles to the west and figure out if the joke called Azad Kashmir has any of the following. High altitude railways through the himalayas, quality airports (not mere airfields), power projects especially hydel, land reforms (zamindari still exists on the other side of the border) . As them and they'd say that the current East India Company mega project (i.e. CPEC :)) will save them.

      ROSHAN ARORA A power line like this which can transmit 1000 MW can replace 1000s of localised Diesel Generators(which are also inefficient in many other ways including the transport of fuel through treacherous terrains). So a big deal for environment

    why are our taxes being used for the benefit of people who don't even want to be a part of this country? If they have a us vs them attitude and harbour such animosity towards us, then we don't owe them anything.

    • @nitishnair8736
      @nitishnair8736 7 лет назад +10

      It is because we have ignored them over the years that they have such Animosity towards us. It is through projects like these that would empower them and the more roads, rail and airports we make in J&K, the more J&K will be integrated with the rest of India.
