Southern 630: TVRM's Missionary Ridge Local (10/8/23)

On October 8th, 2023, we found ourselves in Chattanooga, TN, to film the Southern 2-8-0 steam locomotive 630. The engine operates at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum (TVRM) and runs multiple daily excursions on the Missionary Ridge Local train around weekends. The museum operates another steam engine, as well, that being the Southern 4501. Stay tuned for a video of that engine here in the very near future...
This video will feature the locomotive crossing the South Chickamuga Creek bridge, as well as going through the pre-Civil War era tunnel, known as Missionary Ridge Tunnel. The turntable and wye are also featured as they are utilized by the railroad to turn the 630 around at either end of the line.
