I think you're doing a great thing raising America's mammal. Bison are much better for the natural environment and human health. I would love to see them come back in the millions. Love your channel and all of the animal characters.
Please explain how bison are better for the environment. This video does not adequately show just how dangerous these animals are. Don't think for a minute they are domesticated. I understand the meat can be healthier but so can whitetail deer and they are just as farmable and certainly less dangerous as are elk.
@@giovanna722 I suggest watching the idiots in Yellostone Park who act like the ones there are just like domestic cows. Do not underestimate the stupidity of people.
Dusty, your enthusiasm for bison breeding and ranching is contagious. I learn so much watching your channel as well as enjoying the content. Livin the (hard) life.
Same here, so interesting and enjoyable! Love learning new things and Dusty is such a great teacher, and Marisa, Brooks, and Kevin are interesting and fun to watch and learn from as well. What a great support group Dusty has!! I think the first video of his I watched was when he and Marissa had taken a little weekend trip and the bison, Big Joe in the lead, decided to break through a fence at Kevin and Dusty's Mom's place. Daniel, Houston, and DJ came over to help round them up. Fortunately, they were on a side road, not the main road, and they went back in quite easily. Poor Dusty must worry about what they might get into, or out of, while he's trying to rest and enjoy his family or shop potential new bison! It's always something! Enjoy watching him and his family and friends help develop their new property, fulfilling their dreams.
It’s always good to go to those types of things. Glad you had a good and safe trip. Little Brooks seemed like she enjoyed herself. Thanks for the update. Cora sure is pretty.
Great video Dusty. Thanks for sharing all aspects of bison ranching and protecting the American bison. For all you do and share, thank you. And Brooks’ fascination with it all, what a priceless time to be a kid. Stay safe, stay well.
Wow great turn out for the sale !! Seems like Brooks was having a good time ! I think Cora missed you some , she’s getting used to the camera time , she’s so pretty ! Thank You for sharing your trip with us Dusty, Marissa and Brooks . Enjoyed seeing the working of the Bison .
Hi Dusty. I live in Kingston Ontario Canada and in the province of Manitoba Canada, they found an 8000 year old Bison bone 🦴. That's awesome. I really appreciate your videos and I enjoy your family and 🦬. Thanks so much.
LILA SIMMONS w Well they say 8,000 yr old bison bones, but they were saying floods! once every 700 yrs and were getting them every second year for years
Glad you all had fun! Brooks is absolutely precious! She's already got some thick hair. Isn't it about time for a baby brother or sister for her? 😉😉😉Sending love from Memphis~
It is great to see your beautiful family raising these awesome bisons. Boots expression alone is worth seeing. She loves bisons, and she is so cute watching them at the bison sale! Thank you for sharing your whole family and friends with us. You teach us in many ways. Greetings from NC.

Hi Dusty and Family. Great video and memories being made. Brooke is having fun watching and learning. Glad yall had a great and safe trip. Thanks for taking us along. Hopefully yall will continue with the bison. God bless and love yall ❤❤💖💖
I finally tried a Bison burger a few weeks ago. Oh my word….the best burger I’ve ever had. So lean and yummy goodness. It’s great to see the bond you’re forming with Cora!!
Have to ask, was anyone in your family an actual cobbler, a shoe and leather repair person? Don't even know if you have studied your family history back generations, but that tends to be where our last names come from. My husband's father was a merchant mariner,, when he married my husband's Mom he chose to adopt her three boys, my husband, and his twin brothers. Then they had a fourth to complete the set. Since several last names were involved they all talked it over and they all chose the last name Mariner. So he changed his and her last name, then adopted the three boys. Somewhere I have a copy of his adoption papers. He's since passed, as has his grandparents, parents, his uncle and wife and their eldest daughter. He was the Dad my son always wanted, in fact my son knew him first. He picked a good one! Interesting how things fall in place, no coincidences. God bless.
Did you bump into Noah at the sale? Looks like Brookes had a blast looking all around on the catwalk. Congrats on the rain, hope you get some every couple of weeks this year.
I’ve attended Church in that building you were in. I told my sister you were bringing some of your stock. I must’ve misunderstood you. Thank you for the video.
Cora is so beautiful! I know Brooks and Cora will grow up together and be Loving Friends! Glad Brooks got to go and see the Bison in a different atmosphere! She's to young right now to understand but some day, she will... Y'all need another baby for Brooks before to many years pass between them! 😁 Lol. You need a Boy, Dusty! 🖒🖒 So y'all get on the ball... 😂😂😂 God Bless. 🙏🙏❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸
I really liked how they had a back up plan for closing the gate! 2nd guy posted at next gate behind wanted gate, just in case Bison changed its mind! Lol
Gosh Dusty, I’m just seeing this, however I live in Bolivar Mo. just 30 minutes from Springfield,Mo. I would love to go to a Bison sale. Wouldn’t buy one but this is very interesting! How do I find out when they are in Springfield?
Hey Dusty, I’ve been watching your channel. For a few years. And I was wondering how many.Bison you would recommend to someone.Who would like to start there own bison ranch?
It’s great to see so many Bison in America. Since they where almost eradicated by the expansion of people out west. Basically if the eliminated all the Bison they could move the Natives since that was a huge food source for many. I’m sure if your from America you know the rest.
Dusty, where exactly is the event taking place at? I didn't know Springfield does that. My husband is from Springfield I'll ask him if he knows about it.
I have a question Dusty... Could I buy a Red Dog and tame it? Like be with it as much as I can, and it tame down and actually let me pet it and snuggle with it... Would that be possible? Thanks!! I love your video's!!!
Everyone is well organized and they aren’t stressing the animals, makes me happy 😃
They are a majestic animal ❤ Thank you for sharing Dusty

My husband & I were visiting his brother in Michigan and got to see these huge creatures up close!!!! What an exciting adventure!! Love to go back!!!😮

@@larryrunnels1190 I doubt anyone thinks they're domesticated. Pretty obvious how dangerous they can be.

I'm so glad you guys had a great trip! Brooks looked so excited watching the bison run out of the pens! I saw several good looking animals there!
The use of gates to guide the beasts to where you want them to go is intriguing & educational for me. Ingenious idea!
Glad you all had fun! Brooks is absolutely precious! She's already got some thick hair. Isn't it about time for a baby brother or sister for her? 😉😉😉Sending love from Memphis~

Always enjoy your videos. Have you thought about wearing a mining light when you load/work your bison when it's dark? Would free both arms.

Hey Dusty, I’ve been watching your channel. For a few years. And I was wondering how many.Bison you would recommend to someone.Who would like to start there own bison ranch?
Road trip, yeah
buck skin will be beautiful when she sheds all her winter coat
This is probably dumb; but I just love when the bison do their tip toe dance !
Let us know what prices the bison went for at this sale. Thanks!
You have a beautiful horse
How exciting! You didn’t mention buy any new bison. Looking forward to red dog season!
Dusty, I wish I could have been there to meet you in person
Did you just do that running around in the dark at 5 am. Lot of work after just waking up. ❤

From what I recently saw, the US has at least 300,000 head. A far cry from the untold millions, but a big improvement over near-extinction.
Dusty, where exactly is the event taking place at? I didn't know Springfield does that. My husband is from Springfield I'll ask him if he knows about it.
OMG Brooks is such a cutie
That would so awesome to go to
Hi dusty good video
Oh boy Cora is really getting to be a sweetheart! Hey you didn't buy anything?
I have a question Dusty... Could I buy a Red Dog and tame it? Like be with it as much as I can, and it tame down and actually let me pet it and snuggle with it... Would that be possible? Thanks!! I love your video's!!!
Uhhhhh...no. It took THOUSANDS of years to domesticate cattle. You cannot domesticate bison in one generation...nor in your lifetime.
Loved the video
If And i know it's a very big if you have a white calf would you keep it or sell 🐂
