  • 350z Rear Diff bushing installation. This is a worth-while upgrade as most of you probably have a failed stock diff bushing at this point. It can be a bit of a tough project, but it is actually quite doable with a little bit of patience and some hand tools.

    For the big, rear bushing, do you remember if you got it completely in and flush with the subframe, or did you have that protrusion of the bushing sticking out that meets with the diff? Hopefully that makes sense

    • @SpeedCultureStudios
      @SpeedCultureStudios  Год назад +1

      It is pretty flush on the rear-facing toward the back of the car. There is a slight protrusion on the forward side of the subframe that meets the diff itself.

    My mechanic installed my rear z1 poly diff bushing but it pokes out towards the rear of car by about 3-4mm, not flat to the surface of the frame. Is this going to be an issue? Thx

    Hey is this what they say you need to drop the sub-frame for? Or are those other bushings? I’m looking to replace mine but I’m unsure whether to do it myself or get it done at a shop to avoid high labor costs

    • @SpeedCultureStudios
      @SpeedCultureStudios  3 месяца назад +2

      No need to drop the subframe for this. That would be for the subframe bushing collars. I have a video on that too. And you don’t have to “drop” it. You just have to lower it slightly.
