aang grew up in the air Temple yes, but he was free to travel all around the world and wasn't kept safe and secluded. Hence aang had many friends like Bumi from other nations
The difference between Aang and korras, is that korra has tenzin and her dad who think she is too fragile and are afraid of losing her, mostly because its not a friend relationship they have with korra. Every one with Aang couldnt think like thay because they were always in the same boat with him and so they relied on him alot more. Thinking he couldnt do something was essentially them giving up.
Aang's kids are named after their loved ones. We all know whom Bumi was named, after Aang's childhood friend. Kya was the name of Katara's mother. And Tenzin is most likely named after Aang's mentor and friend, Gyatso (Tenzin Gyatso is a real life Dalai Lama which is whom the Air Nomads are based from, the Tibetan monks, so it's safe to assume ATLA Gyatso's first name is Tenzin as well).
Only three is doing basically the same level of work restoring the Air Nomads as Sasuke Uchiha restoring the Uchiha clan with one kid. You need more than three.
they literally made what if avatar never got stuck in the ice burg and bumi was as old as ang by making another bumi and aang like person who is less fun because that is how aang would have been had he been raised by monk till old age.
Season 2 has a lot of good in it, and I hope you enjoy as much as I did. Korra is a young teen with the weight of the world on her shoulders. Korra is someone who wants to be the Avatar, but she has been locked up and secluded for most of her life. The worse part about that is her father, and Tenzin are the reasons. So she's been essentially lied to her entire life. Avatars before her did travel the world, and had multiple bending teachers. So I see where she is coming from on a lot of this. She could have been a little nicer though haha.
most things that where scratched off ATLA was put into korra like kiyas name, bolin was the original design for toph, n etc and also theres alot of things aang couldnt do and korra unlocked new styles imo korra is a better bender
"I don't think Aang could've done that" Do you mean Aang at 12 (the age he is in the series) or Aang at say 30? Cuz I bet Aang could've done that- just not in the few months we knew him as a pre-teen.
I'm sure Aang had the capacity to learn it, but I doubt he ever did. As far as we know, he never really dealt with any dark spirits. Why learn something useless?
@@Celestia282 Why would someone who has access to hundreds of lifetimes, literal millennia of knowledge, learn something more than we saw him know at 12...? Of course, this completely ignores that he literally calmed a rampaging spirit in episode 7, which means Aang mioght've been able to "do that", knows that spirits can be destructive, and where to go to learn about and commune with the Spirits. I'mma guess he learned more about the Spirits and how to commune with them later in his life.
@@Sephiroth144 I don't know how old you are, but after a certain age, responsibilities pile up, learning new skills gets harder so you begin to specialize and delegate.
@@yannym4605 No, my point is, we only saw him for a short time, and he was still learning. Of course, the reply points out he already knew how to do it (during the timeframe of the show, in episode 7).
@@yannym4605Aang’s always been shown to be care free, he was an air _nomad_ raised amongst monks. Doesn’t seem logically sound to compare your life to his, now does it? I mean everything we know of Aang has shown us that’d he’d be one of the last people to refrain from learning/experiencing new things due to having “too many responsibilities”.
season 2 is a banger the fans are just salty on what happen but anyway you a smart person here's a question there's a test do you continue to learn something that's useless or stop and pick up a useful skill also it's a skill that a past avatar should have learn so he wouldnt had died early
With how spiritual Aang was he absolutely could've done this. But I always had a problem with Unalok's spirit bending technique here. It's more like a forced exorcism or a timeout than it is assuaging the spirit itself and understanding the root of its anger. Aang definitely preferred the latter approach if possible. I get that sometimes the quick fix is needed but I view it as using a bandaid when you need a tourniquet and stitches.🤷♀️
Aang literally couldn't have. Just like he couldn't learn metalbending. Unalaq and Korra in this season is WAY more spiritual than any other bender outside of Jinora
@@HeadGodoftheGodCouncil I meant if he was aware of it, he could absolutely do that because he is so spiritual, not what is canon. Also, spirituality has always been Korra's biggest struggle, it does not come as natural to her as it does Jinora or Aang.
If that spirit has grievances it should write a complaint or petition the local leadership, not start attacking people. If it wants to be understood, use words, not violence. If it chooses to attack, it should be destroyed utterly before it can harm any more people.
Glad to see you giving this show a full shot. Tbh I don't like this season all that much. I thought the early episodes had a cool idea by showing dissent in the Water tribe and giving each side some justification. But they end up spending way too much time erasing the spirits' agency and changing the origin of bending and all that destroyed the actual interesting premise they had. It's like they had 10 ideas of mixed quality and tried to cram them all in. The season has merit. Make no mistake, there are good ideas in here, and any of the ideas could have worked with focus. I just don't think they all work together with minimum time given to them

Fun fact: Katara was originally named “Kya” in the unaired pilot of Avatar: The Last Airbender

Two things to know about Varrick. First: He's absolutely insane. Second: He's absolutely awesome!
Hi Melon Great legend of Korra reaction
And we got Tenzin and his 2 siblings I love all 3 of them so much
Korra entered the avatar state so that Aang could race his granddaughter
Thank you animelon your page like I told you before is a breath of fresh air keep up the amazing work!!!🎉🎉

I already know she is going to have a lot to say about season 2
