    Video: Sky Sports Box Office
David Haye vs Tony Bellew, was a boxing match in the heavyweight division. The bout was held on 4th March 2017, at the O2 Arena in London, England. The event was televised live on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK. The bout started as a stalemate until the sixth round, when Haye injured his achilles tendon, causing him to fall twice. Bellew then took control of the fight as Haye opted to continue. Bellew knocked Haye down and out of the ropes late in the eleventh round. Haye managed to make it to his feet, but his corner threw in the towel, giving Bellew a TKO win.

It's common knowledge now, that David Haye was injured coming into this fight, and even more injured for the rematch!
David was strongly advised to retire back in 2013 when his right shoulder was destroyed (Requiring a 5 hour operation to rebuild and reattach his right shoulder) Adam Boothe (His trainer up until then) knew his career had come to and end.
Once his right arm has gone, it's over, you would need to retrain to box as a southpaw or become a different fighter completely.
However David's passion for glory and to reclaim the throne blinded him from the cold harsh reality that it was time to retire.
Unfortunately his ego allowed Bellew the Bell-end to have a platform and a career off the back of David's name (albeit heavily injured) If he would have retired back in 2013/14 his legacy would have remained intact. (Undisputed Cruiser weight Champion and WBA Heavy Weight Champion of the world).
He should have started a weekly podcast back then (or even now), he would had a few million subscribers by then because he is a great talker, very entertaining and full of charisma, the public would have gravitated towards him in their droves.

Bellew had a snapping defence return dig, quick and powerful without having to give it to much recoil space before sending it, thats what made him dangerous.... Both had Tenacity of bulldogs, hearts of lions the British way...

Here, David Haye was his own shadow in his prime, Bellew would have had no chance Haye is a great boxer and a great showman, but unfortunately his time has passed - it's high time to take care of his health and enjoy life.

    I remember this.
You can see haye was too emotionally driven and all over place .
David haye was almos always unbeatable when he followed the game plan.
I like the guy as a boxer
    Belle was clever too
He knew how to wind his opponent up pre-fight

Haye utterly shot to pieces YEARS before this fight, Bellew was a average european level fighter who led a charmed life apart from whenever he stepped up and got his hole handed to him.

I think Haye sprained his ankle early.

Just wondering why David keeps falling down with no reason in some of his fights . Remember his fight with Klitschko. Fall down a dozen of times.

Haye took too much punishment there. Towel should have saved him earlier
