This is a phase 1 for my au sans, you can imagine him somewhat like Ultra! Sans, but a little more toned down in form.
I will not expose much about the au yet, i am not that ready.
most I will expose is:
this sans most likely has taken possession of some of the souls that were encased in Asgore's castle.
sans also did not promise Toriel that he would protect the player, frisk.

this radiated finale vibes so hard, i can just see sans actually beating the human once and for all like this, maybe surrounded by the human souls and shattered monster souls from the ones you kill throughout the game
Definitely gives off hella final boss vibes more than undertale sans does.
Not even just that, infinite amounts of alternate universe versions of the human souls and monster souls.

Two, chara isn't the genocider. That's the player. Chara steps in once or twice, and all of a sudden it's their fault. You did what you did, chara just reinforced your punishment at the end.

I don't know if this is for an actual au or not, but I like to imagine an au when I listen to fan Undertale songs... But for this one, I imagine just a regular genocide run, maybe one that has been done multiple times... The run is normal all the way until you defeat sans... I imagine the scene being pretty much normal, but then before he walks off-screen, he winks and says, "this time 'really' don't say I didn't warn you." Then he walks off-screen, talks about Papyrus like normal, and then instead of hearing the typical death sound and then the level up sound, you hear more of a vanish or a "teleport" sound, and no LV gained. You go to Asgore like usual. His death is normal, with Flowey finishing him off. You attack Flowey, but right before the final hit, a giant hand appears, lifting Flowey's bits up, and then the word "MISS" appears. Then green shapes appear around Flowey, then they go toward Flowey (healing him), kind of like when the souls heal you towards the end of the Omega Flowey fight. Then sans appears, saying, "hey, you never gave him a turn. you just kept relentlessly attacking. (eyes go dark) you are not supposed to be able to do that." Then everything goes dark with a "click" sound effect, then with another "click" sound effect, sans and the giant hands appear floating (like Asrial Dreemurr) next to Flowey with the "battle box" visible below them (indicating a battle is about to start). Then sans says while winking, "haha. you look like you've seen a ghost?" (battle starts and this music playing).
Miss? No, it's "Blocked"

Next thing is that sans and flowey are just working together and like a phase later the hands turn into Gaster's hands and Gaster's just like "hello mortal"
This would make an incredible AU. Your idea is super unique and not like other AU's that are shallow and unexplained. Thank you for this, and I hope someone makes your wonderful idea :3
Also, the "Finale" leitmotif fits perfectly with your idea

The bridge motif is so nostalgic to me.
The whole song brings me back to early 2020 when i didn't know anything about Undertale
1:44 I love that transition back to the melody from the start. Great song
I've been a part of this fandom ever since Undertale came out and I've heard hundreds, if not literal thousands, of undertale remixes. So that Finale part. OH MY GOD that Finale part. The original song was already my favorite boss theme in the game, and THIS version, even with it just being a part of the full song, is not just ONE of the best. In fact I personally think it would be and insult to say that it's only one the best; this is THE best finale remix I have EVER heard thus far. The volume, the tone, the pace, and even the idea of the context you gave in the description. Even with such a small portion being the Finale remix, you did it full justice! And with everything else in the song, EASILY my favorite Undertale related song. And with all the contestants there are for that title for me, this was not a lightly given opinion yet the choice could not have been more easy. Obviously a year late with this comment according to youtube, so I know what you're doing now is just as good so keep doing what you're doing, cause it's amazing!

Question: Are the hands related to Gaster in any way? Perhaps a symbol of his power reaching the levels Gaster himself was on before his death?
The song is really nice. It has that good feel to it that makes it feel truly like a song that you'd find in a video game. The lemotifs are a nice touch, especially the Finale lemotif, which usually goes untouched except for remixes of Finale or themes relating to Asriel.
The design of Sans in this AU is nice. A good amount of detail without too much crazy stuff to signify the power boost.
I thoroughly look forward to this AU, the story behind it, and most of all, the banger music. I hope there'll be more songs. Keep up the good work!
related to gaster? sure! but i wouldnt say they are gaster, since i am honestly kinda tired of seeing gaster in every single sans au. so those are just apart of sans. sort of like gaster blasters.

In Roblox there’s a sans au battles game and they use this theme for limbo sans, and I loved it so I wanted to figure out what it was called, but couldn’t find it. After a while I gave up, but stumbled upon this and realized it was the theme they used. love it great job!
P.s. I also think this was the only not remixed nor extended version I could find. 😂
