- Lots of complaining last time about how easy Omega Rugal was. SNK listened. This time, Goenitz has graced us with his presence. Now the new players will FINALLY understand SNK Boss Syndrome! He is EASILY the toughest boss in recent fighting games! It's kind of nostalgic, really. I didn't want to have to end the video the way I did, but the RUclips algorithm isn't very kind and there is a limit to what I can upload right now. This won't be the last of Goenitz on this channel.

I'm actually all for this! I already know Magaki will frustrate me to TEARS if he was THIS aggressive. But, you know what they say: misery loves company!
We'll most likely end up with Igniz doing infinite combo that ends with Brutal God Project... While you're at 1℅ health
I have a strong desire to witness Igniz in action, effortlessly obliterating opponents with his laser attacks with his majestic suit.
And NO Power Stocks! Just doing supers for free. I remember all too well....

Oh, he definitely is. SNK were clearly paying attention when people said they wanted to experience SNK Boss Syndrome again.
This might be his strongest iteration yet!

They should add some blood and other effects for satisfaction
Like the good ol' days! His level 2 beat down super could also use more wind effects! But they're minor nitpicks for me. I'm glad he's back!

@@nemoisnobodyYeah, those did added more in the "Ouch" factor, but the sound effects also matters a lot. When Goenitz did that super, I liked how he basically was strangling his opponents in the process if the slicing winds wasn't enough already.
I REALLY miss the blood. Lol Heidern's victory pose where he shoots his hand forward, cleaning the blood off, and Goenitz's super having blood gush out of his opponents as he grabs them.
I have been trying for three days to put Goenitz down but to no avail. It can be done which I've seen in other videos, using the cheapest strategies available.
Keep at it! We don't have to run an arcade gauntlet to get to him this time around!

Nope,you just need to spam genocide cutter with omega rugal after he jumps,but if you want to make him jump first you need to do a reppuken

@@eross_0000 He was also the guy that forced Kyo and Iori to work together for the first time, not much unlike the way Raditz did for Goku and Piccolo! Maybe I can squeeze Heidern in there, too, for that same reason....

Things I've learned about this challenge; Never do anything unsafe ever and always roll away when he does his teleport and has meter.
I'll take note on that and add "don't jump AT him"!
Has meter? As if he needs a meter to super command grab you
I'll fix that with 'always roll after he teleports and get away from him if he has 2 bars of meter'
roll when he teleport is a bad a Idea he immediately do the comand grab super (and he can do it whitout meter) if he telepor you can do a short jump and punish him quick, and with some characters like Ryo, Kula Iori etc a DO can save you
also he is very weak to counters, and dps if you bait him
One of the most frustrating things about him is that so much of his stuff is hard to punish. I could handle his damage, his AI, everything, but I can't punish any of his shit. X_X

Apparently Goenitz' boss mode his attacks are not only faster they have less ending frames which does mean one thing: He has access to comboes the normal variant doesn't have meaning he could infinite you if he desired. And that doesn't count how his boss only super if you try and block the ranged variant its a guaranteed guard break
I guess that's what everyone gets for complaining that Omega Rugal was "too easy". SNK Boss Syndrome is alive and well.
After much trauma from getting my ass kicked by Goenitz, I left it there for a few months. Only recently, I finally used some cheap moves to beat him (I just really wanted his cool costume) so I've been watching how other people had been playing. hahah your game play was so much fun and I like your reactions haha subscribed instantly.
Did you manage to beat him? I didn't see updates so just wondering.
Not yet, but I AM prepping for a rematch! I'm currently cycling through the roster until I find a new team. I'm also showing my progress with that every Friday by trying out a new character in Ranked!

I have a feeling that SNK will eventually add another layer of difficulty after this man 😅, maybe goenitz is just the beginning , hello SNK can you make it more difficult like the boss would counter cheese moves as well 😂😂
I low key kinda hope so. Maybe take a crack at Otomo=Raga Red with full health and hyper aggressive. If they figure out how to have the A.I. counter player, cheese though, that would be wild! It's kind of the only real strat we have against these bosses!
@@nemoisnobody a hyper agressive and uncheesable otoma=raga would be insane 🤣..I would really wish that every boss challenge coming up would be harder than the previous ones..I just love the frustration and anger fighting an SNK boss lol

You should! Might be a good idea to relive every iteration of the character! Even SvC: Chaos. I liked the '98UM version a lot.
Apart from the Damage that is how the Bosses should be when playing with them as well as facing them

Ive noticed that people seem to yell the first time they get their guard broken due to the ranged version of Goenitz' boss super

@@nemoisnobody Definitely a good way to warn people that if they try that its not going to work and instead youll have to do a well timed roll to avoid it

@@nemoisnobodyHeres something I noticed as well, after one of his ex modes (The one that has you in the air quite a bit) he always follows up with his taunt. The boss challenge version will make it so he generates a entire power bar whenever he taunts

I heard about that! I'll definitely be back if I find a way to cheese him with my characters. That's probably how I'm gonna end up beating him, to be honest....

Loved that one! Honestly, SNK should just remake a bunch of old backgrounds and throw them in! They don't NEED new ones, although if they turn out like that Metal Slug background we got, I won't complain one bit!
