“ Black Rock City “ (BRC)
BRCで行われる、祭りを
“BURNING MAN” (バーニングマン)
人と人との助け合いだけで暮らす(Gifting)
どんな物も受け入れる(Radical Inclusion)
通貨は機能させない商業主義と決別(Decommodification)
全ては自己責任(Radical Self-reliance)
自分自身をアートに(Radical Self-expression)
隣人と協力する(Communal Effort)
市民としての役割を果たす(Civic Responsibility)
痕跡は残さない(Leaving No Trace)
傍観者になるな！(Participation)
いまを全力で生きる！(Immediacy)
この10個の根本理念 (10 Principles)
を元に１週間を8万人近くいる住民みんなで生活を営み最後は象徴であるTHE MANを燃やし
全てを無に返す。
そんなバーニングマンに行ってきました！
初めての参加で何もわからず
必死に情報を集めて
なんとかチケットを取って
RV(キャンピングカー)を借りて
LAからバーニングマンの会場Black Rock Cityまで1200kmくらいを走り
コスチュームショップで衣装を買い揃えて
東京ドーム30個分くらいある会場を
キッズバイクで走り回り
アートに触れて
物凄い砂嵐でも外で遊んで
夜は人もモノも何もかもが装飾されていて
そこらじゅうで鳴り響く音楽で踊る
、、、
数多の伝説がある奇祭
“ BURNING MAN(バーニングマン) “
計画、チケット購入、RVの運転、電波なし、水なし、、、ハードルはかなり高くて会場でも過酷な環境下で過ごす、それでも人生で1番って言えるような経験を味わえたバーニングマン！
機材がiPhoneしか無くて砂で故障すること覚悟で撮影しました！
ホームビデオみたいな出来になりましたが
少しでも伝わればいいなと思います！
I loved that you captured the tough times as well as the good times at burning man. It really reminded me of when I was there last year. I just got back from Japan and I have to say I think many more people from Japan need to experience the rawness of burning man. Living in an ultra clean organized city like Tokyo is pretty much the exact opposite of burning man. Burning man changes your life. Id say the conversations you have the people you meet are one of the most amazing part of burning man. Most everyone you meet is an exceptional amazing person. If you go again Id recommend staying at a theme camp.. It’s really great to meet people and make connections as well as find out about events. Be careful some camps make you work almost the entire time in exchange for a free ticket. But others don’t have to do to much. Anyway, way to get out and experience the world. Hope to see you there next time I go. Im skipping 2023.
I hope you had a good time in Japan! As you might have seen, Japanese people work too much and a lot of them seems got depressed, So I wish a lot of people in Japan could have the crazy oppotunity in BM to release their stress. This time I am part of the theme camp member, and I'm going to build it:) Thanks for the warning about the camp, but the main member I met seems very respectful and looking after me a lot, so I trust him and I am sure the camp is not that kind. But I will do my best to make people have a good time at camp even if I have to work hard! I am very excited. Thank you very much for the comment, I hope I get to see you on 2024s BM! Burning Man is hyper-concentrated with meaningful encounters and experiences. You captured the meandering, 24/7 timeless quality of the event but not the brutal, oppressive heat this year. )'(
As long as non of those encounters are sexualized. If you're going for spiritual means, then fine, but if lust enters the equation, then you're sacrificing your eternity just to have lustful relations in this world. Would you rather have 80 years on Earth being lustful to end up in a Hellish eternity. Or should a person have God in their life instead, resist lust, believe in Jesus dying for us, and then you get to have an ETERNITY of paradise. Up to you. Would you rather have 80 dollars, or infinite dollars?

If the 'Burning Man' is transgender, does that make Him/Her/They a real woman, or are They/Him/Shim still a cis male?
That is only he/she/they know. I guess Burning Man is a name of ritual, and The man is a name of species, it might have no gender thought, therefore it wouldn't think about the gender of the species. or " The man" used to be "The Human" and accidentally got rid of "hu" from " human" and it became " the man". It's an urban legend.
